He won't be 100g! That would be like a sumo budgie. I really doubt he'll be more than about 40g.

Blinkie had one poo stuck to his feathers the other day but i think he didn't bother lifting his tail. Has anyone else noticed how they sit down and lift their tails just as they poop. I notice because that's what Blinks does whenever he sits on me, like the sole reason he came over to me is to poo!

But you see he's not at all interested unless it's just about to go in my mouth!

Blinkie's favourite thing to do is sit on the speaker and flirt with the side of the computer screen.

He can. He says it to my finger. He usually mumbles though.

Hmph! I can't even eat some lovely honey dew melon in peace anymore. Just as i was about to put a piece in my mouth Blinks climbed up my fork and sat on my honey dew! Then he put one foot on my nose so that he could balance while he ate MY honey dew!!! Dad came and put Blinks in his cage because my hands were tied (one holding the fork and one the bowl). I've forgiven him though. He's sitting on my shoulder giving my lovely little kisses and chirping. He sounded like a monkey a minute ago. Seriously, i was so suprised because he did a perfect impression of a group of excited chimps! :(Laughing out loud):

If the male is feeding her and she's beginning to go down near the box then they'll probably get started pretty soon.

My last batch of babies got poop balls on their toes and ankles. Just gently pull it off, it's not as stuck as it seems.

They should be alright. Dad will probably start feeding them more and more from now on. Just keep an eye on their crops and make sure they're full.

Yes, budgies prefer high places where they can see what's happening around them. The cage floor usually is surrounded by plastic which blocks their vision.

AHAHAHA!!! One of the questions on the virtual budgie guide thingo was 'Why do "some" budgies have a blue bit above their beak?' The answer was this is the cere! All budgies have ceres.

I really hope he starts improving. You sound to be doing everything in your power to get him well.
