Yep, definitely! At this age they seem to poop faster than mum can clean so it's helpful if every few days you take the babies out and empty the box of all the poop. This should stop the poo building up on the babies feet.

My budgie Blinkie has been moulting for a couple of months now. He always has new pin feathers on his head. I'm not sure how long a moults suposed to go for.

Razzo let Budgie go in the nest box with her. He helped sit on the eggs and feed the babies right from day one.

He's already seen! He's being super cute now. Makes me want to somehow find $250 and go get him one!

It goes in the bottom. I doubt i can convince dad to get tiles. At one stage we were but it never happened. I have sand on the bottom which is really easy to keep clean so it's not causing any problems.

I don't know of any breeders full stop. My aviary is covered down the bottom. Water just seeps in. See, this is my aviary:

I've decided tonight that i cant. It's been pouring rain all day today and there's about an inch of rain on the bottom of my aviary! I don't think the quails would like that too much!

Blinkie is nearly 6 months old now!!! They grow up so fast!! I'm glad you like my site. I should probably update the photo's on it. I'm pretty sure you can keep quails with budgies....not 100% sure though so wait for someone else to confirm that. I would love to keep some quails with my budgies.

From a different angle Jasper is super easy to tell apart from Budgie and Bobby. He has to little black bits on his wings.

He says hi back but he also says that he'd never be naughty enough to be driven away by me! Depending on the size of the aviary you should be able to have several more budgies to make a mini flock. As a general rule no other parrots should be kept with budgies. Either the budgies or the other birds are likely to get hurt.

Even if you don't have heshen it's super cheap and will hardly cost a thing! No amount of money is worth Blinkie....he's priceless!

Heshen is like what you have sack races in? You know the stuff? Because he's the Alimighty One and he's my tame pet instead of my budgified budgies.
