I was also going to suggest parts of the feather sheaths. When Blinkie's feathers were coming through there were little white and grey specks wherever he went.

My baby birdie Blinkie loves it too. He flops sideways like a dead birdy and fall asleep. It was scary at first but it's just him going into some kind of weird relaxed state. Mabye like those people who meditate?

Several of my budgies like hanging upside down. It's just something they do for fun! One of my budgies gets in the corner of her cage, stands on her head and then falls asleep! The first time i saw her do this i was really worried but i think she found it relaxing!
