KAZ said fluffy around the vent... i.e. there are too many feather making mating unsuccessful. Often you need to clip carefully around the vent to help them out! :happy-dancing:

Yes they are... and very good ones at that! Great photos AV... what a stunning bird. I'd try and cover the wire of a night. It may not be able to eat them through the wire, but could easily scare them to death. Good luck!

I agree MB... but Clancy, Cara NEVER said anything about breeding... lets not get ahead of ourselves. Cara, I rent and am not allowed to have an aviary, but some places do let you. A nice big indoor cage with plenty of perches, and lots of out of cage time. I'd agree with having more males than females, and a slow introduction as some birds just don't get along and you'd need a back up plan for that... Good luck if and when you decide to go ahead! :bliss:
