Oh sorry... I thought that since other members had posted about thier guinea pigs I would ask..I cant find the clarification list on what is classified as "off topic" so didn't think it would be a problem. I didn't mean to offend you (and others). Other members have posted about their Guinea Pigs, yes... but as we are a Budgie forum, we 'as a group' are not here to advice on other animals (not that we don't own them) As Elly stated, Offtopic Forum: Topics regarding health and support etc. of other animals besides budgies will be removed. However, feel free to post about your other pets with images etc. Again... sorry if I offended anyone... It was not meant in that tone or manner.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm sorry it is on sad terms. I'm sorry for your loss. Try having a cage out side with seed in it, perhaps near the aviary... he may come back. I have an aviary and have always kept my young with their parents. I haven't had any problems. If yours have all fledged they should be okay, just keep an eye on them... but they should learn from their mother how to do things... Good luck and please keep us updated on them. maesie xo

A photo would be great Molly. Also make sure you are keeping this little one away from your other birds... if s/he is sick you don't want the others to get sick.

Could you put some mesh over the larger air holes??? Then the lizards couldn't get in... but still enough air???
