  2. So sorry for your loss. :angel1:
  3. I agree with Elly. Sounds like a good plan. If she had some taming before, it shouldn't take her too long to pick it up again. I look forward to following her progress again :purr:

Yeah, agree about the meaning of cement/concrete. But in the bags I used they had gravel in them as well... that's why I said Concrete. I should have used Cement as it would have been a smoother finish... but you learn.

From what I understand... cement is the powered bit... the fine dust type stuff IN concrete... Concrete is cement mixed in with all the other stuff... sand, stones etc... I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. When I did my aviary I used rapid set concrete. My aviary was already paved. I spread out the dry concrete on top of the pavers and then watered it down. Wooooo, I was way off... Ignore me!
  8. Now.... yes... very. Then... not so much!!!

I'd say just under 4 cubic metres... so I'd base your calculation on 4!
  10. I had a Bull Ant run up my pants leg a few years ago... and as you did, I hit it to try and get it out (didn't know it was a bull ant at the time) Well... it got very, very angry and decided to bite me VERY, VERY, VERY close to my 'who ha'... and let me tell you, it was very unpleasent. :ratty: (I was kind of dancy around like this guy!!!)

  19. On your loss and new bub xoxo
  20. If that is the case then... you need to stop looking. If you aren't able to do anything about it... let it go. You'll only put more stress on yourself.
  21. Thanks MB, but by the way they are tearing it apart, it wont last long :bluesbros:
  22. I know you said they wouldn't listen to you... but maybe knock on their door and offer to take them off their hands... offer them a price and see what they say. That way you have done everything 'legal' to help these poor birds. I also feel for these birds, and regardless of what we think of the owners... these birds need our help...
  23. Yes MUM!!! The piece I broke of before has now gone limp, so I'll go a get another piece. Thanks guys xo
