A creamino (yellowface albino). I think there can be YF1 and YF2. Not sure what Jewel is? She really is beautiful to look at and seems to be the more tame of the two. I'm so pleased I bought her.

I think its okay to keep Pretty, but if you really want a more masculine name you could call him Petey. I really like Petey for a bird.

Beka and Star are letting Sylvester flirt, especially Star. Tweety is not interested - maybe she is smart enough to know he is a sibling. I haven't seen him bother with 'Puddin or Daff much either. I still sometimes wonder if Daf is a male with a weird cere. Right now she looks just like a he with a big puffy head and lots of bobbing. Do clearflight pieds get blue ceres? My new babies are Romeo and Jewel and they are simply fabulous. They are having a wonderful preening session as I type.

Sylvester and Tweety have finished molting (I think) and they are looking so sweet. I had them out for a fly tonight but they spent most of their time on the top of the cage. Sylvester is a little more confident about leaving the cage than Tweety. And I thought you should see what a big boy he is these days. He's getting that puffy head and proud stance too. His cere is nice and blue and he is flirting with all the girls...and the toys...and the cage bars...and the mirrors...and.......well you get the picture. The Big Boy! Sylvester and Tweety My pretty girl! And here are a few of the new babies. They settling in very well. Today I saw them drinking water, and they are moving around the cage a lot more. They are just so beautiful!

Sounds like it should work, especially if the new bird is really tame. But I'm no expert. I don't really have any bad biters. Bobby may just be so thrilled to have another of his own kind around that he will forget about biting.

Awwe! The petstore here just got a shipment of Pretty's. They are so cute. Recessive pieds are becoming a favourite for me. I adore Tazzy and Romeo. Shh! I still dream of a spangle though.

Are they still acting that way? My budgies seem to flirt around a bit here and there and I get a little worried, but nothing ever comes of it. I would definately remove the platform and any big seed dishes you might have, and then reduce the light. If all else fails you may have to separate if you don't want any babies, or at least until they are old enough.

My mom has 4 and they fly around all the time. She has a much better house layout though. Mine is very open and I can see them heading off in many different directions. I'm seriously thinking about an outdoor aviary but I'm terrified of raccoons or other predators getting them.

My new babies have been with me less than a week. I have been putting broccoli in every day and I saw one of them nibbling this morning for the first time. I clip mine to the side of the cage. I have a variety of things in the cbig age for the other 8 birds - regular seed, premium seed, pellets, egg food, veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, romaine), and sometimes boiled egg. I hope that there is something for everyone. Every once in awhile I give them a treat of millet, but it is less than once a month.

Quick question about the bok choy - I"m wondering why this is okay if it is from the cabbage family? I read that cabbage is not okay. Just looking for clarification.

Lovely babies you have there. Are they all pieds?

I would love to let all of mine out for flight time, but I'm terrified I'd never get them all back in. They can fly quite well in the cage. My clipped budgies get out, and Sylvester and Tweety (their flights are back). The 'wild' budgies don't. My house has too many danger spots for them. Poor Puddin' flew down behind my washing machine after a couple of days home. Luckily she stepped up onto a perch and I got her out of there. Then in terror she flew onto my clothes after a few swoops. I threw my hands over her and got her back in the cage. She hasn't been out since.

Beautiful birds. I love them all. Cockatoos are so beautiful. I would love someday to have a bigger bird. Looking forward to a picture of Moonstone.
