Great new pics and video. Do you have a bird room for them? Or are they in your main living quarters?

This post makes me sad :hap: I'm happy that you are rescuing them, but sad that they were able to get in that condition. How can people do it? I just don't understand.

My experience is it takes a few weeks for new birdies to settle. All of mine wouldn't touch veggies until they were truly settled in their new home - usually by the third week. I clip broccoli and romain to the cage bars. When new they don't touch it but once settled they begin to nibble - and now they all love it. Mine like romain lettuce, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, mesculin mix (mixed greens).

I hear you loud and clear on the cravings. I got my wonderful 2 in January and now look - I have 10. Sometimes I can't believe it. But I love it! They give me hours of enjoyment. I'm sure if I lived in a place like Australia I would have 10 times that. But I don't think that my husband would still live here if there were 100 in my house!!! I think my cravings are satisfied unless I find my YF2 spangle or possibly an albino male.

Well when I hung the romaine in the cage today Tweety and Sylvester went bananas. Too bad my video camera batteries were dead (I tried). They just couldn't get enough of it. Both of them almost became one with the lettuce leaves. It was hysterical. I did capture a few photos. Not sure if you'll appreciate how funny it was but I'll share them anyway. Tweety wrapping herself in the lettuce leaves. Look at the dirty face! Sylvester having a go too! What mom?

When measuring length where do you measure from - what part of head? and to tip of tail?
