Pics..fun And Cute
I think budgies like to keep an eye on their surroundings and they can't see in those snuggle huts. Unless they chose it as a nest, I don't think they appeal to them. I have one and none of my 12 went in it so I removed it.

Sylvester And Tweety
Sylvester and Tweety were making me laugh yesterday with their bobbin around. Sylvester seems interested in anything these days - cage bars, male birds, female birds, and branches, and this blue bobbin. http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c299/mom...MiscBird044.flv Tweety was doing a little bouncin herself. She seems to be in love with Tazzy, but was doing a little playin with baby Max. http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c299/mom...MiscBird049.flv okay - I've moved to Photobucket. Hopefully that will work.

As usual gorgeous pictures. I must be PMS'ing because I'm getting a little teary eye'd at the beauty of all of those birds. I'm sure a flock of wild budgerigars would be amazing too, but that mix of colours really does it for me!! Looking forward to seeing more baby pics. Is the dilute baby fully feathered yet?

Welcome, I look forward to hearing more about your birds and breeding experiences. And of course any photos would be great!

Melanistic Spangle
http://www.bestofbreeds.net/sbba/articles/attwood.htm Found this interesting link. I'm wondering if anyone has ever owned or seen one in person. I think the bird in the forefront of last picture is amazing.

New Budgies
I think his name should be Prince. All the show birds should have regal names. They look so pompous!

Birds Stolen
If the chicks are "rung" couldn't they be traced if they showed up in petsores, etc. I know I'm being optimistic but perhaps petstores could be alerted to watch for the numbers on the rings????

Daytime Soap Opera!

Great photos as usual Karen. Bungee reminds me a tiny bit of little Bao. Is that her in your avatar? I'm also really looking forward to seeing the dilute baby in full feather. I think s/he will be gorgeous! And Sansia is lovely. I would have guessed she would be a YF1 because of her blue colour. But you know me and YF - they forever confuse me!

New Budgies
What a stunning bird Daz. I can't wait to see more pics of him. He sure looks sky blue in that picture. My guess would have been opaline sky spangle.

Photo Splurge
I don't dare put them together yet. With my luck they'd be a "breed without a nestbox" couple and they are just too young. I will take your suggestion and put them together a few months before I want to introduce the nestbox to let them bond!!!! I will use the black cage. It should be perfect. Right now its on loan to my mom. It's cool that you are so anxious about breeding and breeding results. It is awesome to read about the others breeding on the forum - especially Bubbles - and it makes me anxious to get started. But I'm going to wait and live vicariously through the others for now.

Photo Splurge
Well Tweety and Sylvester are probably 7-8 months old. I'm guessing Daffy and Puddin must be 10-12 months - maybe older. And Star and Beka are probably the same. I think that Bella must be a good 7-8 months old if not more. I'll probably only breed her and if so it will be this winter. Mate will likely be Wylie. I'll see how that goes before I decide to breed anymore. I will find it hard to give away the babies and with 12 indoors already, I wouldn't dare breed anymore. I really hope that with Bella and Wylie I'll get at least one yellowface spangle I'll watch closely for your breeding news too!!!!

Hello From Me & Moon!
What a lovely budgie you have there. But it sure looks like a male to me. Can't wait to see and hear more about Moon. Cool name by the way.
