Boomberry

Ive decorated the cages this weekend and we have 5 budgies in the biggest cage - Patty, Georgy, Beano, Heidi and LC. See if you can spot them hehe. In the smaller or the cages we have - Candy, Bobby Maxwell and Tobi girl (we are having squaubles here already grrrr. Noo Noo guards the cages - he was behaving yesterday! So what do you think!

*Update* Ive found a very local bird welfare who will take all the cages, they take in rescues from canaries to parrots. Im going to see their set up tomorrow and take them all my cages. Thanks for the tip!

Im in Hull East Yorkshire and had no luck when I tried to donate them. Do you know of a place I can take them in my area as I would love to be able to donate them.

Having a clear out of spare cages and all these are free to anyone who could collect them. There is nothing wrong with any of them but as you know Ive got my new big cages and have no use for these. I will be tipping them if nobody is interested. Please note there are no food containers with this one and there is a bar snapped on it aswell nothing that cant be hidden. Please let me know if anyone is interested - I will keep them until next weekend.

She isnt part Lutino is she? I know in tiels Lutinos have a bald spot on the back of their heads and my pied who is part Lutino has this too - I just didn't know whether this was applicable in budgies aswell. Oh just read the above I guess my theory doesnt count hehe!

I agree that the male does look rather too young to be having a nestbox in the cage. I can see the baby bars too.

He is beautiful Elly and already so tame it looks - lucky thing. Send him to me!

I am pleased to report my baby girl is fully recovered. My brave girl beat her mystery illness twice now. I am so proud of her she has had to deal with so much in her short life. She has her first birthday on Monday, she is getting lots of pressies, toys and even a millet which she isnt supposed to have but hey its her day she can have what she wants.

They will be moving in at the weekend so plenty of pics next week.

Here are my two new cages. I am really pleased with them and have spent my last two working days putting them together as you can see have have them hidden in the office until tonight. What do you all think? This is the smallest but still pretty huge. And this is the main cage - Im really happy with it and it has the space they really need.

Keep Oscar on his own for a while then Im sure another baby will turn up. Ive got 3 baby budgies and none of them are tame, probably the most skittish out of all of them.

Would be harder I reckon Ali, but that didn't stop me getting more birds - it depends if you want them to bond with you or each other. I myself get great pleasure watching them interact with each other. Up to you - I myself would buy the birdie hehe.

Yes Elly complete hehe. I need to work on getting them all to live together which is a chore with 2 never mind 9 hehe.

Yep me too - my flock is now complete almost half yellow and half blue Tobi and Heidi have both have a bit of both hehe. Just wish my new indoor aviary cage would hurry and arrive grrrrrrrrr.

LC = sounds the same - mean Little Critter hehe! Final Decision - LC = Lemon Cupcake!

Meet my newest addition - she is Elsie although Ive no idea if she is a boy or a girl. Im not sure how the cere sexing works in Lutinos and Albinos. Can anyone help and if she is a he we will change to LC hehe.

Oh well lets see what Boomhubby can beat him - I very much doubt hehe. Im excited about setting them up and getting them in, they will hate me for a few days. Candy even hated me last nigtht because I cut the grass and had the door open and the mower was making a noise hehe.

Im only little I could probably get in the small doors to be honest they arent that small anyways. Oh its okay Boomhubby can put stuff up pretty good without instructions - well lets hope he can hehe. The green one should arrive tomorrow and the other one Friday.

I have the same problem with one of my tiels - he really agressive and protective over one of my budgies and will attack me viciously. On the other hand another 2 of my tiels are terrorised usually by some of my budgies. None of them every are left out together unsupervised - someone would get hurt and I bet on one of the tiels everytime. I guess its trial and error with any birds getting on. Im sure you will work out a routine that will suit both of them. Its a bit more difficult in my case - I have 11 birds all indoors hehe. Good luck and keep us updated. Welcome to the forums aswell.
