My show bird Cassies cere is exactly the same and Littel Girl Blue hehe. She is around 7 months old and its showing no sign of tanning!

Patty has had a crusty brown cere since she was about 6 months old she is nearly 3 now!

Its perfectly normal in baby budgies - I really miss the running up and down the cage floor and turning themselves inside out. Enjoy it while it lasts I would it will be over soon.

All rust is harmful/fatal to budgies. I would be scared to death using that bridge or anything that rusted. Having lost a budgie from metal poisoning from the tiniest little spot on a toy bell this really alarms me. Get RID of the bridge!

I thought 2 males too I guess we need to wait a wee longer to find out for sure!

I know I was due to purchase a Rainbow budgie at a sale this weekend and now it wont take place until this time next year

The claw wont grow back but it wont affect him at all.

Yeah he had just had a bath - that budgie loves to bathe - he gets super wet and still thinks he can fly so Im often retrieving him off the floor hehe.

Some spangles also dont get iris rings. My Tobi Girl was Yellowface Opaline Spangle and had no iris rings.

Same as the vacuum mine have a ball when I clean up hehe.

It must be different here because I have a 2004 with a blue ring a 2005 tiel with a green ring and 2 show 2006 birds with red rings. Monty has a silver ring but a metal huge one because he is big

Im afraid you have a hormonal budgie! Happens to all bird species the smaller the bird the younger the age. Dont worry give him his own space - its doesnt last long and he will return to be your loving little boy!

Thats only if they have IONS in them - pure water or filters are perfectly safe.

My LC has the strangest angry dolphin noise its really deep and sounds like a machine gun more than anything - she must be really showing her anger hehe!

I used to have them with the carbon and Hepa filters but my cockatiels were wearing them out too quickly and the water ones werent really that much more expensive. They came with coloured lights too which work great as a night light and I like the noise too because it drowns out any night time bangs etc which may cause night frights.

I run 2 air purifiers constantly and they are excellent for the birds health. I used to use the filter ones but they cost way too much to replace the filters and me having 5 dust birds they didn't last an awful long time. I now use a water air purifiers - you just refill the water and clean the pot when it starts to look grubby or fills up with feathers hehe. I recommend then 100%.

Caffiene free teabags are totally fine my birds drink it all the time. Camomile is a favourite too.

Actually frozen veggies are a lot better for them than fresh. Sounds crazy but its true. Fresh veggies have been left on the store shelves for well I dunno a while. Whereas frozen are picked frozen no leaving lying around. Butttt my budgies prefer fresh where my Grey prefers frozen.

Its a happy content noise. My Georgy loves bells and when I ring a bell near him he comes running over and does that noise - Its too cute!

I love male recessives they stay baby forever yum yum.
