Im so sorry I dont really know what to say. I was positive it wasnt going to be this serious. It is so you have to do right by Pippin, he cant tell you himself what he needs. As long as he is happy and not suffering there is no reason he cant live his days happy with his friends. If the time comes you think he is suffering then thats when the decisions have to be made. I just think Pippin needs a lot if observing over the next few weeks for any even slight changes. I wish there was more I could do or say but I would be rambling for the sake of it. I am sorry Terri and my thoughts are with you and yours. Keep happy Pippin.
  3. Good Lucky Terri, Pippin and Piper, thinking of you.

Ive been and picked and paid for Beano. I collect him on Saturday as I havent yet been able to set up his quarantine cage. He is a boy by the way. He is also I think a sky blue pied. Dont know whether he is recessive or dominant as he is still only 7 weeks old and has baby bars and baby eyes. He is adorable and I couldnt bear not to buy him - you know me. Anyways these next 4 days are going to be super hard and I might work fast to get the cage set up and see if I can collect him before. Am excited - sooooooooo excited hehe!

Ahh yes thats the main thing, in the next breath he is trying to scratch my eyes out hehe tiels eh hehe. 4 full days before I get my baby budgie. More mess to clean up but I dont care hehe!
  6. Thanks Terri and likewise. Please let us know what the vet says tomorrow. I will be praying for little Pippin, he doesnt deserve this. Fingers tightly crossed. Good Luck.

Arent I just Ali, would you like a Boomhubby like mine - isnt he the best. I did however say when he asked if I wanted a baby budgie ask if I could have a macaw instead but from the look on his face I was pushing way too far hehe!
  9. My Candys poops are never normal Terri but that is normal for him if you know what I mean. Barnslee had yellowish ones the other day, it only lasted a couple of days but cant think what she could have eaten different. I have added a new supplement to her food maybe it was that. Has Piper had anything different? I wish it was tomorrow or the day after and you are back from the vets. It must be horrid for you. This probably isnt the place to say this but I will. Do you find yourself checking the floor of the cages before you uncover them. I am doing it all the time with Tobi and its not good for me at all.

Im going through it too right now as you know. I hope this day goes super quick for you and the vet can do something for Pips lump. Are Pipers poops still yellow?

Only yesterday we have decided not to move house for a number of reasons. Soooooo my lovely Boomhubby asked me if I wanted to get another baby budgie. Duhhhhhh what kind of a question is that hehe. Sooooo on Saturday we are going to go and choose a male baby. I saw a clearwing blue male with baby bars yesterday and also an almost all yellow recessive pied both I reckon between 6 and 8 weeks old. I have no idea if I will get one of these yet but be sure that next Monday I will have cute baby pictures. Whichever I get he will be called Beano!
  18. Oh Terri no not your little baby and no way Piper. I know this is probably not possible but is there anyway you can get a picture. Is the lump on the outside Im guessing it is. The lump Tobi had was on her lower tummy but was on the inside. Thing is now she is ill again the lump is back but the vet doesnt know what it is. I dont think Pippins is that though. When do you get the results? My thoughts are with you all.
  19. She definitely hasnt got one at all. Ive been inspecting her lots lately with being poorly so had an extra close up and nope nothing. She has no pied markings either. Is my baby unique - of course she is to me!
  20. Why doesnt my Tobi girl have iris rings she is coming up to almost a year old and as you can see there isnt a sign of any coming at all. I was told she is a yellowface opaline spangle. But wouldnt it mean she would have to have some recessive in her for her not to get one?
  21. Awww thanks Elly I try to me my birdies make me happy so I try to do as much for them as I can. Im hoping Tobi might have a bit more flight tonight, poor girl hasnt enough puff to make her go.
  22. I guess so but there is no way I could ever prevent that is there. I do almost everything by the book with my birdies but thats something I cant do much about.
