Sounds like fun Anna - would they stay together if you held them on those veggie skewers or fall to bits. I would want my budgies to eat one in one go as Tobi got ill doing this with other treats.

Oh thats good to know Cheeta. Also my biggest cage is quite high and they sleep right up at the top and sometimes they get night frights and Im always worried if they grate isnt covered and they fall to the bottom they will get hurt.

I personally dont like the grates they are a nightmare to clean and my birds hate them I do however leave them in but I cover them with newspaper below and kitchen tissue over the top which gets changed 2/3 times a day, but if you dont have a cage cleaning obession like me then I would keep the grate.

Alcohol is a big no no. Also coffee isnt great. My tiel drinks tea but its decaffinated tea which is okay I guess. Try him on some greens like spinach oh and some carrot.

Yep 9 six budgies and the 3 tiels, I could get a friend for Noo but he is being too much of a pain at the moment. I could maybe get a macaw or a Too or a - stop it grrrrrrr. It stays at 9 hehe.

I have to use certain vitamin products for my feather plucking tiel but I tend to buy powdered form and shuv it in his favourite things to eat. Most vitamins come in this form and are odourless so dont need to go in the water.

Mt tiel has a green leg band and he is a 2005 bird.

Hehehe yeah Tobi looks cute fluffed up too. They all do but out of those pics Patty gets the cute factor - Candy a close second I reckon.

Patty always has that no matter how she stands - she is a proper fluffball. I really think that picture does her justice too. One of my better ones I must admit.

Mine dont have millet spray at all anymore since Tobi got poorly. They seem better for it and much prefer my homeade egg food treat on a Saturday and if they arent too piggy there is some left for Sunday and a small bowl on a Monday. But to offer once a week is fine. My tiels have millet spray almost everyday but they dont eat much of it.

I agree Ive been trying almost a year with Bobby and he still hates my guts. Actually since Tobi girl has been poorly (she is better now thank goodness) she has been quite handable and sat on my knee after I cleaned her botty a week ago. Well not since she is better she attacks me as usual hehe. Maybe I need to get a baby 6 weeks old budgie *drools*

I'll update after the weekend and let you know how theyve got on. Yummy breakfast nearly my birdies tea time hehe!

Yeah thats a good idea I will give it a go tonight. They never pop back in when its their out time, not even at bed time grrrrrrrrr hehe. Both of the cages are domed shaped so the only place I could put some would be on the tiel cage in a dish, they often take baths in a bowl of water on their cage. Tobi has been eating the pellets a bit but she is the only one as far as I can tell. Breakfast time does really happen until Ive gone to work. I uncover them at 6am but leave the main light off for half an hour whilst I get ready, then I change all their food, water and veggies and then I leave at 645am so that I can only really do on a weekend and plus the weekend will give me a better chance to see if they are eating them at all.

Does he go away by himself or do you have to catch him Lucky I mean?
