Mine too Terri, what annoys me is when I take the base of the big cage outside to through the mess in the dustbin, its right outside my door and its been windy past few days, so you can imagine what happened, yep all the mess just blew back in all over my lounge floor hehe!

I know you must be feeling a bit peeved after all that collecting but if your Mum couldnt see in the pot too well its just an accident, Blinkie will loose LOTS more feathers for your bookmark I promise. Try not to be too hard on her she probably feels terrible.

Thanks Classy she seems to be going on okay now hasnt done it for a couple of weeks. I think it was definitely the Jungle Munchies she was eating.

My Dads look like cricket bats Pix they grow so big hehe. The radishes didn't go down well neither did the pear. Might try peppers tonight.

She only touched it to rip it off the peg Lin hehe. I wonder how the radishes go down tonight.

Yep most mew things I try just get ignored or thrown off the pegs. Water melon and honeydew melon were the latest try and it wasnt cheap they just chucked it all on the floor, Tobi even spat after she touched the evil specimen hehe!

You never know Lin they may even sniff it one day - only a maybe though you know what little snots they can be hehe!

I do buy organic spinach and brocoli and carrots, but they dont offer those in apples and they LOVE apples. Oh well I'll have to browse carefully at the supermarket later on, they prefer stalky things but unfortunately my Dads homegrown carrot with tops have finished until next year and Ive been thinking of stalky green things to substitute. I tried parsley they didn't like. I wonder if you can feed basil or mint herbs?

After reading that all the fruit and veg I feed my birds are on the bad list, not a single one of them was okay.

Bummer my Dad is over run with homegrown cucumbers. Im going to buy them radishes tonight though.

I know its probably wont contain much nutrition but its nice and refreshing and wondered if it was okay to give the birds Ive not read anywhere that you cant . I just want to make sure before I do.

Yeah Candy was a lot overweight but he isnt as much now and doesnt have difficulty getting around at all more like me catching up with him these days. Maybe Homer needs to get stuck into a big bowl of spinach and carrot mix.

I know this isnt probably relevant but my Candy lies down on his landing platform and sometimes sleeps that way on a side with his legs in the air, the first time I saw him do it I swear I thought he was dead, he still does it now not often but there are times like yesterday morning.

Aww Anne I bet thats such a rewarding feeling. I really wish mine will come around in the same way. I have no contact with 3 of my budgies at all and still have to catch them with a cover to get them away which I hate doing. They are however the most fearless of other stuff except me which I find strange too. They will explore everything especially the tiels mouths hehe. I dont have to catch them every night they go away on their own accord but sometimes you know what its like when they play up. I hope Skittles continues to make you happy.

Oh I thought it would all contain the same - oh well they devour the entire leaf too, its their fave food apart from their new rusk biscuits.

Hmmm mine like the stalk bits the best I would leave them I buy already washed spinach but I always wash it agai. mine love it!

I dunno I was looking for iris rings, none of them have any. I will go for the 2 identical babies but thats really just a guess.

Julie, I use them so does Budge - they smell yummy dont they. Ive stopped giving them to Tobi though thats whats made her bum pooey and sticky. The others are fine with them but I just offer a small bowl and they soon get munched up.!

Awww where has the poor thing come from? Is it weaned yet? If not your going to have to hand feed asap!

To be honest I cant remember but I only feed them half a biscuit a week, not everyday, but I reckon seed treats are far higher in fat!
