If you guess Blinkie then you guessed right! For the last 15 minutes he's been alternating between head bashing his mirror and throwing his ball off the desk and 'asking', or rather biting at me, me to pick it up! Well, just to assert his dominance, when Mickey came and sat next to me while i gave him a scratch behind the ears someone (not naming names) got a tad jealous and dropped his ball on Mickey! How rude your probably thinking! That's what poor insulted Mickey thought too! He sulked off! Then to insult Mickey further Blinkie continued throwing the ball in his general direction and poor Mickey had to watch my obedience as i picked up the ball for His Royal Blinkieness over and over and over. :mellow: This ended when Blinkie accidently threw the ball up and it hit him * :(Laughing out loud): hehehe, serves him right* instead of Mickey or the floor. A very shocked Blinkie got startled and flew of the desk. I of course was *made* to go pick him up. Once back one the desk Blinkie jumped straight up on his speaker as if to prove he was still in charge! Now he's chewing my necklace because he has control over everything i own and he just wants to prove it!

(Laughing out loud), Blinkie was the same when he got his toe caught in the keyboard. He sulked for a moment and then was back to normal. I think they just thought they could get some attention by sulking!

Good news!

WOW, i'm amazed! I never thought you would even think of breeding devvle! I think it's a fab experience but even i'm rethinking whether or not to breed again. I think i will because i know that i have homes for them to go to. If you want to go ahead i think it would be a good experience to breed and raise one clutch. You might find it harder than you think to part with the little angels! Be warned...you may be overrun with budgies! :mellow:

Even if the hen doesn't get out of the box when you knock at least she knows your coming. I always knock lightly on the box before looking.

WOW!!! That's so exciting! The little ones are very loud. I read though that the louder they are the fuller they are? Seems odd, like them screaming for mum to stop feeding. Can't wait for pictures!

Not all budgies like bathing. Try giving them their bath with some celery leaves (or other favourite leafy thing) in it. That's how i got all my birds to try bathing.
