You could scrape it into his seed like Chirpy does.

I hope everything goes well for you and your birds. You're lucky to have such a kind daddy bird!

If your resizing it on photobucket the try making it 75% first and if that's too big try 50%. I find 25% is way to little. And those little babies are so cute! I think they're the most lovely things in the world!

Was she showing any other signs of illness? Watery poo, not pooing? Not eating and drinking? Has she lost weight? Does she feel really light to pick up? If she's still sick i would take her to an avian vet. She'll need medicine.

She's very pretty! Can't wait to see some baby pictures!

I still think that a vet would give medicine and tell you what's wrong. I'd still take him to the vet. The diet sounds really good! Loads of variety.

I don't think fur and feathers is a good mix either. I just never would have even considered it.

Beautiful birds! Glad the babies are healing well. Scarface really looks like she's enjoying that carrot!

    I expect so.

You should take your bird to an avian vet. AT least then you can find out what's wrong with him. Keep him warm and comfy. Hope he gets better soon!

As long as he is drinking and getting his medicine i'm sure he has a fighting chance! Hold on Peanut!!! You've got a lot of people wanting you to get well!

Oh, i'm so worried! I hope he pulls through!!! Maybe you could put a soft towel on the cage floor incase he can't perch. That would keep him warm. And put a heat lamp on the cage so he's not wasting any energy keeping warm. I know how horrible it is to have a skinny sick budgie. I had that problem a couple of months ago. Again, best wishes for both of you! ((((hugs))))

That's normal male bonding behavior. It looks gay but it is just being friendly!

OH NO!!! Poor Peanut! I'll keep him in my thoughts tonight! I'm sure he'll pull through, he's done it before! (((((hugs))))) and best wishes heading your way!

Oh! Congratulations!!! I peek all the time but i also have very tolerant birds. I think peeking once or twice a day is good just to make sure things are running smoothly. You can handle them if you would like after they're completely covered in fluff.

That's a lot of nest boxes! I think they would still all pick one to fight over!
  21. There's usually a runt in my birds clutches. Usually the littlest babies, but they've all survived and grown to normal size.

I think they can choke a bit if they get a little bit of fluff stuck in their throat. But no more than if they got a husk caught at the back of their throat.
  23. I'm so pleased for you and Freckle!!! :glare: Do you have to keep her separate for a certain amount of time?
  24. How's Freckle today? :glare:

I'm so glad that Peanut is going to be able to have a good life in your care. I was terrified you were going to post some terrible news! i would also tell the pet shop although they probably wouldn't do anything about it because they will still want to sell all their birds sick or not.
