That's a lot of effort to go to. It's much easier to have a cock for each hen.

Hehe! That's a bit mean! Making more work for whoevers in charge of cleaning! :(Laughing out loud):

I'll bet you can't!!! When my aviary got delivered i couldn't wait to get it all put together!!!

I wouldn't have thought it would be bad.....not if you were watching carefully....but i'm not going to intentionally give it to him to play with. Budgeover, i think you're right! It's just not worth the risk! Andy, I wouldn't worry at Christmas unless your budgies are addicted to shredding it or something.

THAT'S SUPER!!!! I think it would be just right as it is! But i've never designed an avairy so other people will probably have a bit more usful feedback.

You'll always be able to tell them apart! Don't worry about that! I'm really sorry about baby number 5. It's so sad to lose a little one. I hope the others continue to grow stronger each day!

I found a nice piece of tinsel (like what you decorate Xmas trees with) yesterday and was wondering if i could let Blinkie play with it??? I remember Tweety used to love playing in the tinsel on the Xmas tree so thought Blinkie might be able to have some fun with it. What do you think??

I'm really sorry Daz but that article was a bit boring. I got a bit disracted.

Hehe, sounds like your dog DOES need a reality check! :(Laughing out loud):

Isn't it great when you get a good pair. Razzo and Budgie were my star parents, never let a baby die. Can you post some more pictures of the babies?

I only suggested them becaue i was going to use them for Blinkie and his bros and sisters! First they were going to be Egg, Eggie, Eggle and Eggbert. Then they were going to be Wormie, Slug, Snail and something else. THEN they were going to be Merry, Pippin, Happy and Sunny. Finally i settled on Blinkie, Jasper, Bubble and Squeak! (Laughing out loud)! I always come up with a lot of names when i have babies in the nest! :(Laughing out loud):

NO!!! Cause nesting boxes will make all of the girls want one to lay some eggs! Even with no partner! I think you should breed in individual cages. I tried to just put some boxes in my aviary and ended up with one of my hens having no toes! They all got bitten off! The nest boxes were covered in blood too! It was very truamatic!

Sometimes i look out the window to see a big old cat sitting on top of my aviary. I fix it by letting Mickey out and having a good laugh watching him trying to catch the poor cat! :(Laughing out loud):

What about Egg, Eggie, Eggle, Egglet, Eggburt, Egghead???
  18. As long as possible until the smell has completely gone i would say. Do you have someone who can look after your budgies until it's all finished??

Aww....he's got the cutest little expression on his face!

Glad you were able to clean off Biggles bottom! I'm sure he's feeling much more comfy now!
  22. Hehe, hedgehogs are so cute! But what are your dogs going to do to it? Bite it? I don't think so! I'm so glad that Mickey will tolerate Blinkie! Or else i think Blinkie would be eaten by now! Blinkie continued throwing his ball of the desk until i put him to bed. He's very smart! I started putting my hand under where the ball was to catch it and he would fling it in a totally different direction so i still had to pick it up off the floor! :(Laughing out loud):

Wow, i'm glad your budgie's on the way to recovery! You did real well to get her through that!
  24. Nope! He just sulks off! Poor baby! Evil Blinkie tried a 3rd time but clever Mickey got smart and heard the bell and moved out of the way! You should have seen the look on Blinkie's face! He was horrified that he missed! :(Laughing out loud):
  25. And for the cherry on the cake guess who just got hit by a falling budgie ball again?! I think Blinkie has serious jealousy issues!
