I would like to introduce you all to _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (please help me fill in the blanks!) The newest member of our growing family! I fell in love the instant I saw her (or him a little help with that too if you don't mind!) I was so tempted to buy two, but my life is worth a little bit more than that!! I hope you like her (or him!) A little shy one okay then - yes I am cute!! Enjoy - I know I will!! I will get better pics once she has settled in a bit more!!

I really want to be prepared for my next budgie (which I MAY be getting this weekend!! :hap: ) But when I have new budgie out for flight time, can I have it play on Bobby's new playgym in a different room??? Sorry if you have had to explain this before, but why can't Birdie fly?? I agree with wing clipping, I am planning on getting Bobby's wings clipped, as he is always flying around the kitchen and falling behind the fridge, climbing over the stove and is hard to put away at night time, so I will try it for a one time experiment to see if it alters his behaviour at all...

Well the green feathers have been destroyed already... I've just been out to buy more accessories to make a swing and more toys!! He is starting to warm up to it!!! My husband and I decided to build a playgym for Bobby over the weekend. It is not quite finished yet, I still need to adorn it with my artistic touch add a couple of swings, toys and food cups, and hubbby will put a frame on it as well. Here it is so far... Day one Hmm not too sure about this It might be okay... I will add more pics once it's finished properly!

I know when you get a new bird, you must quaranteen for at least 30 days prior to joining your other birds. If you have a large avairy and are contstantly getting new birds to fill it, (when starting out) what would be the best method of quaranteening the new birds? Those of you who do have large avairies and are constantly buying new birds, what is your quranteen methods???

Well I think as leader of the Budgie World Army, this sort of behaviour has been communicated to other budgies via this forum... I thought you were talking about Bobby's behaviour... Oh I know it is extremely frustrating, and I am also looking forward to others responses on this topic! Bobby doesn't really have a favourite toy, but we have spent all weekend building a play gym, he takes one look at it and flies back down to the floor.
