He actually went out to the aviary today along with Razzo and Budge. He was miserable in a small cage inside and miserable in an aviary outside. I figuired company and space is surely healthier. I've also put Gherkin and Buzz in a breeding cage so hopefully without Buzz to fight over Pickle and Lime will be at peace.

Pickle is only quiet because he is obviously in some discomfort with his feet and wing.

Blinkie- he blinked at me with one eye all the time as a baby Pickle and Gherkin- they're green and i got them at the same time Lemon and Lime- yellow and green Most of the others are just random names that popped into my head...how else would i have names like Razzo?

None of my budgies are going anywhere!!! The playgym was $20 from Petbarn. The same style is around $30 anywhere else.

I'm just wondering if it's in Pickle's best interest to keep torturing him with Blinkie...he shouldn't have to put up with that because the reason he's inside is to become happier away from bullies.

I don't think he will stay inside all the time. I can't have them out at the same time unless i feel like poking them everytime they fight...which i currently don't feel like doing.

I bought a play gym, a little seed cup for treats and a new rope perch!

If only they did get along! Blinkie is a social PLEASE BAN ME!! who thinks that Pickle is some high tech toy i got him that squawks everytime you grab at it!

I think so. I am taming him so that in the event that he doesn't heal well enough to go back outside he will enjoy my company and not hate life.

Tonight i had both Blinkie and Pickle on their play gym. Well, Blinkie was hardly on it...he sat on it a couple of times. Anyway, what i was wondering is if there is something about green budgies that would make them more appealling to a dog than a blue budgie? When i first put Pickle in my room Mickey (my dog) stood on his hind legs to get a better look and then tonight Mickey was purely intrested in watching Pickle. Even when Blinkie fluttered down and was running around Mickeys feet Mickey didn't take his eyes off Pickle!! :mellow: I also want to share that while Pickle was on the gym he started leaning for me the way Blinkie does when he's about to jump at me so i put out my finger and Pickle leap over to it!! Then he sat on my arm peacefully until Blinkie came over to put Pickle in his place. :(Laughing out loud): I ended up having to put Pickle away because Blinkie was being too mean.
