I get budgie kisses when Blinkie gently nibbles my lips or even just touches his beak to my lips. **just wanted to add i also get cockatiel kisses cause Bailee runs over and presses his beak into my lips. Budgies could do the same thing i guess.

I have three budgies and two cockatiels in the house. I preferred only having two budgies and i often find that there's one left out when they're out playing now, but my brother REALLY wanted a budgie of his own.... :ausb:

You would need an incubator to hatch it, that's assuming it is fertile which it might not be. I don't think you will be able to keep it at the right temperature under a lamp. Perhaps look around and see if there's a breeder in your area that might be happy to put the egg under one of their pairs.

Blinkie is about 2.5yrs, Ozzie is 1.5yrs and Fizzy is about 6 months. :sad:

I would think that limiting the food supply could help your bird with his crop problems (e.g. not having seed in the cage all the time - taking it out for an hour or so before putting it back). You said that it took him a long time to empty his crop, so taking the food away until his crop is empty could help. Kind of like when you hand raise baby budgies, you have to let their crop empty between feeds. I would ask your vet about this idea before trying it, but i don't see why it wouldn't work.

I hope your budgie gets better quickly now that he's getting the right treatment. Ask about getting a course of antibiotics to just put in your other budgies water. It's better to be safe in my opinion and always worth mentioning that your sick bird is usually housed/in contact with other birds.
