Looks good to me, i prefer to use basic budgie seed though, but mine eat all sorts of fruits where as yours dont want to, so a decent blend of different seeds and such should be good

What do you mean by a Double Factor Sky Blue Spangle split ?? well he is a double factor spangle i know that much, and he has 2 really light sky blue patches on his chest only visible if you examine it properly, i couldnt find a better name for it so i just added sky blue split??

Indeed, sometimes it takes a while before the pair are used to their surroundings and feel comfortable about the cage/aviary that they are in, it took mine 3 months to get used to the aviary before they started laying eggs and raising the youngen's, so its pretty much a waiting game, one thing i learn't with budgie's, or any bird breeding for that matter, is to have patience and if the bird's don't want to breed, i do whats best and let them settle for the months to come until they are in breeding condition once again.

Fantastic, Dumb & Dumber never cease to amaze me, such dazzling and beautifully textured bird's. and the rest of the pair's look great, You definitely got your fair share of pairs haven't you In the 3rd picture, that cock-bird looks preety much the same as my Other cock-bird who is with my opaline(avatar) they both have baby's and one is lutino

i havent had lice problems before so i dont think i could help much in this matter, although daz preety much hit it right on the head with his answer as for catching lice, they could be getting into your hair in the night while you sleep.
  17. okay heres MY opinion on what pair's i would choose, im not too good with gene's and offsprings so ill leave that to some else, first of all i would pair louie with sky. sonny with nixie. Jasper is too young yet, but as you said next year your breeding so that being said, he could go with snowflake, and oliver with fiona like i said these are my opinion's, other may disagree

Welcome to the forum, people here are always willing to help so don't hesitate to ask any questions regarding your bird's
  20. I was thinking the same thing, she looks a bit cinnamon in the face and around the upper torso, we will have to wait for Kaz's opinion on this
  21. i don't see why not, unless their is something wrong with him, i have a 2002 bird that has his little "friend" that he plays with and by the looks of it he's still a stud to the other girl's, so give your guy a go and see how he does, at least he can say he has the "experience" that may intimidate the younger ones

Sure was, i'm quiet surprised that a pet shop would create such a deal, knowing how stingey and stuck up most are

  got rid of my grassparrot's. for how much you might ask?....WRONG  i traded the 4 of them for 2 Beautiful budgie's and a 20kg bag of budgie seed, the 2 budgie's i got was 1 that caught my eye as soon as i entered the shop, a beautifully presented Double Factor Sky Blue Spangle split, he is a beautiful white coating with 2 small sky blue patch's on his chest and nothing else, was very happy with the decision, and the second one which was in the same cage with him was also beautifully presented and was a cinnamon sky blue spangle(the sky blue appeared as scales across her whole body) i have had them for 3 days now and already, the male is having his fair share of "fun" with her  so i couldnt ask for a better result considering i was going to give them away, but then i thought, theirs no way im letting a pet shop have anything free so i decided to do some old fashion "wheeling n dealing" and everything turned out for the best.

You did not offend, it was just a suggestion/idea, So the advantage of having your own topic means that you will get A lot more responses about it then being in another person's topic. And it will prove more helpful.
