  8. Indeed, i dont like to have too many of each gene. as you can see by my photobucket album, theirs not 1 bird thats the same in my aviary, except their 2 identical violet opalines, and 2 normal grey greens look forward to seeing those picture's mate.
  9. I might start a thread soon similar to what the other member i saw a few weeks ago had, like a day 12-42 growth progression topic. cause i expect some beautiful chicks out of this nest coming up.
  10. Woot! the mother is a T2YF cobalt opaline violet, and the father is a double factor yellow spangle (Green series) So i will be happy with a few opaline baby's
  11. Here are my other 2 "Terror's" that i have inside as pet bird's, The Galah is a male(Barney) and the rainbow lorikeet is a male(Jack) they both hate each other and jack is super protective of me, if someone comes near me while hes on my shoulder he will fly to them and try to attack them ...dont know why. as for the galah, he's very friendly, just not towards other bird's unfortunately.
  12. which one is the opaline spangle? the one that dave was talking about?
  13. oh, misread it she's one of my best hen's, i thought she was violet opaline at first, she hints it on the back of her neck
  14. Oo clearbody's definitly look forward to picture's
  15. okay here she is, sorry for bad quality, it was night time. in the yellow face's nest, is that an opaline with the white fuzz? Also Dave, the blue up the top of my first picture is opaline as well i think. not just standard blue.

  20. Lol, i was a bit confused their as well, if she already has chick's, then she well and truly wont lay more until her next clutch.
  21. Okay Dave, here's 2 that i got just before, cant do any better then that 1. she's aviary bred and wont sit still 2. its dark
  22. i finally bought a camera, and got some good shot's of my bird's, its a good size list, so be patient First up, The 2 parents, and then afterwards are the baby's, please let me know your thought's on what they might have in them, their's also a few other's in here as well. Now the baby's, one's a normal sky blue, a redy-eyed albino and the other 2 i cannot completely confirm yet and this is my aviary
  23. Lol sure did, did the eye recover from being caught on the wire kaz?
  24. photo's? we can definitly tell then.
  25. mattdog2 replied to **KAZ**'s topic in Budgie Pictures
Her mate is a beautifull normal light green split for blue and albino. and the flecked hen is a violet opaline both show type's the father is very long and has got some size to him. although the hen has lost alot more fleck then she had when sitting her egg's. she has 4 baby's right now 1. normal sky blue(he's frigen huge!) 2. normal violet(possible opaline) 3. normal light green possibly opaline also 4. red-eyed pure white albino.
