Breeding Pair
Since there is a difference in them you may have one fertile. The heat from the dryer might be the reason she isn't sitting on them for long. Try and spray her with water when off the nest. NOT so she is soaked just one or two squirts it will help the humidity in the nest box.

Sleeping
I agree with Macka and Rainbow. You and your bird are settled into a routine. Budgies sleep in patches during the day and when left alone your budgie will snooze when he feels like it during the day.

Baby budgie tent to nibble a lot regardless of gender they are checking out their environment. If he (just taking your word) bites too hard you can give him a small fight by droping your hand slightly, just enough that he has to focus on balance. Some have also found a time out/in cage period helpful. Welcome to the site I hope you can show us some pictures of your little one.

Kiky Is A Yellowface!
yes The top bar is dark green the bottom is olive. Now a violet green does look very much like an olive and faint blue markings around the legs is said to be a sign of a the violet gene, But I don't see very dark almost black cheek spots on her, which is another sign of violet.

Kiky Is A Yellowface!
Yes Under the wings is a good sign of a YF. But she looks so vevenly green and yellow (as in it's not patchy looking) I would stick with her a a dark green.. wait didn't we work out she as olive:

Marking Eggs
Really they are the same thing. In Australia markers are just called pens.

Kiky Is A Yellowface!
I believe your just seeing the blue from the flash. All green birds have blue in them as well. If she was YF it would be a patchy green all over.

Did you see any redness? It would be best since you are unsure to leave them for the full time. 18 day + about another 5 more past the due date to be sure.

Ozzie & Angel My Hen's In Condition
I remember at the pine river bird show watching one have great old time with the water dish for most of the day. It wasn't until close to the end of judging that I found it it was a HEN! Are you sure they are not seeing it as a nice opening to a good nest?

Have You Ever Heard Of These Mutations?
Ellulah - it could be too, I was just going on the chart on the page on the right side it said inop. as to the crested halfside, both sides would have helped. From that shot all I see is a Crested yellowface mauve dominate pied.
