  11. that's great to hear :fear good luck with the breeding.
  12. Good job to mum and dad
  13. What some breeders do is remove the box for 1/2 to an hour in the mornings so the male can mate with the hen and then return the box.
  14. he is a spangle, what I'm not sure about is if he is DF spangle with bleed through with the yellowface gene or a very lightly marked SF spangle. DF shouldn't have marks on the flight feathers. I wouldn't say pied now looking at the other cheek patch. If he is paired to normal you will need to watch for normals in the babies to know about the single factor or not.
  15. ohh I like that Buzzbee
  16. Clearflight is a name for one type of dominant pied. This thread might help: http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....showtopic=16139
  17. They look great. I agree you have a cobalt opaline male, a sky blue opaline hen and a sky blue normal male.
  18. good luck, glad your able to start work now.
  19. yep always knew he was a great buy. I've only made this pair for 1. stop her bonding with her sire and 2. give Poka some experience before pairing him to Elle like you suggested. She is a touch too young yet.
  20. Thanks Splat Story of the four pairs is started here: http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....showtopic=16125.
  21. Congratulations Now that you know check the box at LEAST once a day, two if you can so when babies arrive the hen will be use to you looking.
