Hello All!
I thought Kaz might have had a few ready but didn't want to say.

Hello All!
Ahh. That's okay then. We don't allow Pet stores to be named on here. Do you have idea's on what colours you want?

When Can I Start Handling Them?

Hello All!
Welcome Shellet, it's great that you can re-introduce budgies into your life. There are a few members on here from Perth, Kaz is one of them, there is also Feathers, Paul and the pie. I 'm not sure about the suburbs and such so don't know the distances to Ballajura from where they all live. Why no ask on the forums the answer could help another or someone later on.

Cock Killed A Baby
Yes I thought the same thing, the male with the mother and chicks will be seen as an intruder and attacked, or he will attack more young. Leave mom to raise them alone (or foster if you can) and put the cock in a cage alone to rest before joining the flock.

Albino X Lutino
That's right Elly.

I Left Without Them
I like 'Macaroni and Cheese' or you could name one Maca and the other Roni They look good. Are in interested in recessive pieds?

Should I Handraise?
You could try and remove the older two for a 'cuddle time' and give him a chance at the parents full attention for food. Are his feathers growing in like the others? The pet shop feeding formulas are okay, read the info on the back for the right consistency and feeding amounts for the age of the chick.

My First Budgie
Iceberg lettuce is no good but the other types are okay. Humans should be eating Iceberg lettuce. For one bird just a leaf is enough or half a leaf if it's big. There are other fruit and veggies to try as well, carrot, corn, beans, sprouts, apple, pear, banana, orange, celery and broccoli.

Fresh water every day. Even if it seems a waste. Water will evaporate in the air as well and so make the level drop slightly. Don't panic about water too much budgies can live about a month with out it. Also any lettuce or fresh veggies/fruit have water in them. Remember also to blow gentle on the seed dish to remove the husks (might be an idea to do outside) Most clean the bottom of the cage weekly, but it's up to you one how often you want to clean. If he isn't too panicked about your hand around the cage I would start to try and finger tame. I'll leave it to other to explain or have a look in the FAQ area. It's been a while since I've done any taming (besides handling bubs)- Eggs Found On Aviary Floor...parents Unknown
Eye sight is better than photos. I can see some feathers sky blue just under the mask, just the rest look darker to me. I don't think you will ever know for sure, mark it down as possible beside him then in a years time if he throws a cinnamon chick you can look it up.- I Bought A Budgie
Yes it might be, even my Freckle who when younger would sit on my shoulder and even lent to hop onto my foot to get up off the ground after a fly around will sneeze just once when I first uncover her in the morning. Do keep an eye on it as you are. Sneezing often and repeatedly is a sign of respiratory infections. Do you have a number for an avian vet near you? It might even be worth it to take her to all over check up.- Two Babies Of Mickey And Precious
that's correct :fear This is where the pied gene shows us that what we know are just guidlines. It can remove as much or as little as it likes.- Genetics Again Help Plz
:fear when did you get Marine You could only get one like that if your male is split blue- Eggs Found On Aviary Floor...parents Unknown
it's possible, he looks cobalt to me so one of his parents could have been sky blue.- My First Budgie
Sherbert is a great name. Welcome Sherbert :fear Sounds like he is loving the new toys and settling well.- Genetics Again Help Plz
Normal green and violet greens, unless your male is split for blue or even ino. the Sons will be split for ino. All offspring will be split YF.- Eggs Found On Aviary Floor...parents Unknown
wow the second one looks like a big one. Both cute bird Kaz.- I Bought A Budgie
She might be doing a bit of an escape act with the digging. Many bird try to get out via the seed dish. How often is she sneezing? and when?- Caption Competition
There was a repeated choice Birdluv so I edited to remove it- Weird
I finally remembered in what topic I had seen feathers like that before (I first thought of the dusk budgie) Hommer had a funny looking bird and was asking about it http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....0marks&st=0 But the pictures don't work now I think the answer was at last picked on being stress marks and with your bird they should moult out. well 11 weeks is close to 3 months. I was use what happened with my yellowface pied baby. young, very white: moulting, mixed feather of bright and pale: adult, bright feathers:- I Bought A Budgie
I bit hard to tell the cere colour in those shots but from what you described matched a hen well. I agree with Kaz with the age however I think she is a cobalt not skyblue. Also the pictures where not to board rules so I have changed to links.- Josh & Sandy's Birds
Mauve and dark grey (one dark factor) are sometimes hard to tell and the light in pictures can change it. The best thing to look at is the cheek patches if they are blue then you have mauve (which is a blue bird with two dark factors) if they are grey/silver then you have a grey. The only way you can get ones to look like the parents if to have splits that you don't know about. Only ones like him if the hen is split for blue and recessive pied. Only more Lutinos if he is split for the ino gene.- Resizing Pictures
Step one, find your picture in the photobucket album and click on edit above it (as circled in picture) Step Two, once the page as reloaded with a full size of the picture hit the arrow (in red circle) pointing down beside the word resize to get a drop down menu. Step three, select the email size in the options (as shown by red box) Photo bucket will then ask if you are sure select yes (or okay) - My First Budgie
