Smudges And Cloudy
Not yet, I am not sure which ones I will sell and keep yet. I still have three very similar babies from her last clutch inside waiting to go into the big aviary. I dont have individual names for them either, but they are such a comical trio, we call them the Three Stooges (Laughing out loud).

Smudges And Cloudy
These are pics of their youngest baby. I just noticed this morning, I think it is possibly a cinnamon spangle or a lacewing. Mind you, I think the morning sun is just a tad too bright to tell and washed out most of the cinnamon colouring :hap: Has to be a hen, she's a REAL little biter! The oldest was hanging out the box when I left, looking like she really wants to come out, so wont be long for her!

Gypsy And Tommy

Smudges And Cloudy
Here are my most recent pics of Smudges and Cloudy's babies. Three are almost all white with just a touch of cinnamon on their wings. I only photographed two it seems (Laughing out loud) And the one that's different.....

Gypsy And Tommy
I think you guys might be right about the cinnamon violet. Her colour is starting to show more and she looks more like a violet every day! I'm crossing my fingers and not really believing my luck

Gypsy And Tommy
They are mostly white with just little smudges on the ends of their wings, it's barely noticeable. This is Smudges, the hen. I guess Cloudy her mate would have to have some cinnamon gene for them to have any cinnamon on them at all, but they are mostly all white and he has no visible cinnamon. This is a picture of their last clutch. As you can see, it's only the youngest who has any real amount of cinnamon on it. Oh, they are a foursome on their own, so the only possible mates for Gypsy are Tommy who she is pictured with or Cloudy, who is Smudges mate and he is a sky blue recessive pied.

Gypsy And Tommy
Thanks for that info. I will keep that in mind for when she is old enough More of her violet colour is starting to come through under her belly now So that means that Tommy has the cinnamon gene? I could risk a guess that maybe she had played with Cloudy, but they are a pretty tight foursome and Cloudy has mated with Smudges and their babies only have the tiniest of cinnamon on their wings, they are mostly white babies and she has cinnamon on her.

Gypsy And Tommy
I have to say I'm pretty tickled actually. This time I am actually hoping it IS a hen. I have a nice cinnamon sky blue cock for further down the track when she is old enough. I cant wait for more of her colouring to come in now! I think all my babies are gorgeous, but seeing I have been looking for a cinnamon violet to buy and for this baby to just pop up, I have to admit to being quite chuffed

Latest pics of Gemma's baby. She just had the one The first picture is a little light as I used the flash in the aviary and it has washed out her colour a bit.

Gypsy And Tommy
They are all doing great thanks Smudges had four babies this time, Ive just finished cleaning out her box, cause she is a very messy mum, although still a good one. I also had to clean up her babies "knees" a little. Gypsy has had 6 babies this time round! They are all doing well too. No need to clean up after her (Laughing out loud). I also have five new jellybeans in my big aviary, 3 to one hen, 2 to another. The one with 2 only had one baby last time, and the one with 3 had two. Those guys are all doing great too

Gemma And Stormy
I havent put shavings in as she only has the one and seems to be keeping things pretty clean. Should I put shavings in even if there is just one baby? Here is the latest picture of the baby taken yesterday.
