yep I have!! and they love it!! Make sure their little beakies don't touch any part of you that you don't want burning sensation after they've had it!!!

From your description (I couldn't see the picture) of your budgies, I'd say... budgie #1 & #2 are boys, and budgies #3, 4 & 5 are girls. how old are these boys? and I assume that you didn't quarantine the new bird before putting them together. It is strongly recommended that all new birds are quarantine and kept away from your original flock for at least 35 days to make sure that it doesn't harbour diseases that can be passed on toyour original flock. indeed it is very exciting!! it'll definitely stop all the speeding tickets these little guys will get from going at high speed!!

I used to plant the seeds in one of those take away plastic container thing for about a week and a half or so, and give the whole tray to the budgies.. they love it!! some would try to bath in it too as I usually wet them first before putting the container into their cages. I haven't done that in a while because I've switched to just giving them veggies.

Hi Una They are just simply gorgeous. I still think the skyblue is an opaline spangle. Her undulation (is that the word?? the bars on the feathers anyway) doesn't come right down onto the shoulder blade area, and she has body colours on her wings. I don't think the cere will heal over again. I've read somewhere that that the scaley if gets too bad can damage the cere like that and then the budgie is left to suffer as the nares on the budgies are quite sensitive?!? I read that somewhere, but don't remember where though so don't quote me on it please.. hehe. Cheers
