my albino has brown cere too. That's female... my creamino's cere is brown too.. i think the male has the pinky purplish colour, like the recessive pied's male.... i think.. someone will correct me if i'm incorrent.
  10. Kirby... unfortunately i don't think Karen will be parting with any of her babies this time around... hehehe, so i don't think i'll be taking any home with me.. besides i'm running fast out of room for these little guy.. well short of getting another aviary anyway... hehe. Karen.. Teddie sounds so cute, and tame too. more pics please..
  11. awww, gorgeous!! love their colours. what cute little faces. don't you just hate how those budgies at the shop always pull at your heart string like that!! I almost always want to bring some birdie home when i go to get some birdfood!! (Laughing out loud)
  12. yep, definitely a double factor dominant pied. Looks like my little Fox, except she's white with blue rump!! As with the iris ring.. does she have it in both eyes? My little Fox only has the ring in one of the eye. it's so cute... Apparently it's a trait in the double factor dominant pied. kinda reminds me of people with one blue eye and one brown eye... In the picture below you should be able to see her 'non iris ring' eye. And this one with the 'ring'....
  13. here's my double factor dominant pied that I had finally just named 'Fox'... (after about 6 months here.. hehe) You know after looking at your little baby, I'm not so sure if it is a Double factor dominant pied, it could just as well be a recessive pied!! (Laughing out loud).. any chance of a picture of the tummy/chest area??
  14. Wow look at that gym!! Lucky birdies! that looks like great fun.. I bet it was fun to make and get all creative for it!!
  15. (Laughing out loud), oh my hubby thinks the same of me when I sit or stand and watch my budgies for a period of time... I sometimes stand by my aviary for a good half hour just watching the interactions and also listening to the sounds they make... I especially like doing it after work, it relaxes me.. my hubby really thinks that I'v gone bonkers!! (Laughing out loud)
  16. nice cage. Love all the sounds the make...
  17. Awww, what a cutie pie!!! I think it's a double factor dominant pied. but I can't really tell quite just yet... but from all the white feathers and just the tiny bit of black on the head and little on the wing, that's my guess anyway...
  18. Lovey, they are soooo adorable together! Love the little vid there. so cute. I love how those two interacts. I bet it's fun to sit there and watch them.
  19. No, she's going to give me all the boys.... right Karen?!!? You don't need any more boys right... hehhe... Kidding..
  20. really? What about Bonnie's four? they look like they should have had the fluff by now with all the pinnies.
  21. Aww, those are simply growing up to be beautiful babies!! the YF2 spangles are so much like my YF2 Spangle hen.. I'm seriously thinking about breeding her to Mr Attitude (grey opaline spangle) when they are both old enough!! heheheh... Edit... For the DF spangle.. I'm wondering if it could be a yellowface DF spangle. The yellow isn't very bright.. it'll be cool if you could get that...
  22. Awwww, how precious are those guys!!! sooooo cute!! It's funny how some are so white and fluffies, and some are just so bald!!
  23. They are just sooooo gorgeous!! The three spangle baby is going to look like one of mine. Although mine has gone a bit green since the molt!! Sooooooo are you too busy for me to come visit sometimes?!?!?! (Laughing out loud) edit...Slinky and Jazz are just gorgeous!! wonder if you'll get baby blinks from them!?!?!?!
