Babies Feeding Babies
Not being a breeder myself but will offer a common sense opinion. I would wait until they are eating on their own because even if the chicks are feeding each other they could be feeding what the cock fed to them and not what they ate on their own. Make sense? I love the toddler rooms and not taking them right to the aviary so in there you can really keep an eye on them to ensure they are doing well.

Welcome, we have a wonderful FAQ section up on top that you can also read through for some excellent advice on top of the sound advice you have already received. When you have a chance and post a picture of your new feathered friend that would be awesome- A Game? We Haven't Done One In Awhile :-)
Noodle- Clear Flights & Dominant Pied:
If you have a dominant pied like Merlin it can't be a throw back because it is a dominant gene and is not hidden like the recessive pied. Since you are uncertain of the father it would have to have been a dominant pied that produce him. You could pair him with another bird that is split to recessive pied and you will have a 25% chance of recessives OR you could pair him with another recessive and see if you get recessive pied babies. As Kaz said I have seen several birds on these boards SWORE up and down they had to be dominant but only turned to be recessive.- Fun And Games
- Budgie Baby Outcome?
According to the description of the BEC it can't be it Description of Different Mutations this is from our FAQ and Aly had posted this back a few months ago. I think the best thing you can do is wait for the offspring and work out the genetic .- Dog And Budgies
