Home Made Egg And Biscuit?
This is the one I have from Bea, look under the receipes PINNED in the Food Section too . When i make mine i get a hard boiled egg, bread crumbs, bird seed, and my birds favourite veggies. You microwaves the egg shell for about 2 mins and smash that into a fine powder. You add that to mashed hard boiled egg. Sprinkle some bread crumbs over the top just enough to spread right through the mix. Add a tablespoon or two of the budgies seed mix and then mix some finely chopped veggies in as well and stir it all together.

Danni's Eggs
Do you know exactly how old your bird was when you bought her? If she was a very young bird she would not be old enough to breed but as Neat said at times an egg layer can be an older hen too. I would do what she suggests and keep the egg there she will loose interest and "we hope" stop laying and leaving them alone if you take them from her you are interrupting in her mind nature and she may start to become very possisive of them and continue laying because they keep disappearing.

Newspaper?
in the U.S. the ink in non-toxic, and I had a bird back that used to shred all the time with no issues, in different countries I am unsure. Preening toys are helpful too.

Can This Be An Abscess
Neat is here a website where I found information it is called Egg Yolk Peritonitis, http://www.avianweb.com/eggyolkperitonitis.html, if this is what it is it sound pretty serious and an avian vet should be consulted immediately.

Comfortable...
Every bird is different so the time line of how quickly they became "tame" to your standards is also different. Continue to work with Bing, you may want to use his favorite food when he is out to entince him. When you let him out what does he get to do? If you give in the wide open space even a tame budgie is going to take advantage of that. Tell us what the routine is like.

Your right about that but they are still not in quarantine from the existing birds at all and are with babies that are more suspectible (I would think). Anyways everyone has their own thoughts these are mine.

Your birds are very beautiful. I always thought as you have Dave too that no matter what quaratine is very important when you are bringing new birds into your flock no matter where they come from because the move is very stressful. I understanding when you are bringing birds back and forth from shows that there is a potential danger but not like when you are setting them free into an aviary where they are in total contact with each other. I am very surprised that many blew the quarantine issue off. (these are only my thoughts).

I Have 9 Breeder Pairs Set Up Now
I would take out the spinach that is my advice as the iron in spinach will block calcium absorption which could be causing the soft eggs in the hen. That is what I would start doing, as with the rest of the advice our expert breeders will be on later on in the day because our day is their night and they will have more advice for you on how to boost your hen's calcium which is most likely causing the eggs to be soft.

Saving 4 Weeks Babies?
these babies are way too yoiung to leave the parents if they are separated then the person who takes on the responsibility for them will have to hand feed like the parents do. I am not an expert but I will see if there is anyone on who can help you better as many of our breeders are sleeping because they are in AU.

Are All Greens Safe?
Most greens are okay, make sure they are not sprayed with pesticides we to suggest using organic. Spinach is okay but not too much because it can inhibate calcium absorbion. We do have a list in the FAQ section.

I Have 9 Breeder Pairs Set Up Now
I am no expert but I will ask some questions so they can help you more. What are you feeding your breeding pairs? This is important and I ask this because you said that 1 pair laided soft eggs, so you really need to find out why, a nutritional deficiency possibly. As Karen said it is best that both parents raise the babies, there was an article about using 1 cock to 2 hens but by reading this article you really have to know the cock & both hens ability and also to have a lot of experience yourself, too many things can go wrong. There is a reason why nature gives of 2 parents .
