  1. Didn't realize you had them already not a problem mate, Anne aka Rainbow has all females and they are awesome she said . It will probably take them a couple weeks, I would let the kids talk to them but not put their hands around them just yet, I suggest you be the one to work with them in the beginning for taming purposes but first let them settle in. I wrote up an article in the FAQ section about taming if you would like to get some ideas there.
  2. Well Neat said it well, I would be fuming too let me tell you have had a share of my own issues with my son and I do take charge with it. I can't believe after over 1 year they haven't said anything to you that would **** me off the most.
  3. I agree always get boys in pairs just because of the egg laying issues that female budgies are known to have.
  4. Deep Breathes......BREATHE...everything will be okay....

sounds like you are her mate and she is looking to nest, keep an eye and make sure she is not finding places to nest and produced eggs. Keep us updatd on the vet.
  23. AV, you do what you think is best in this situation. You have spent a lot of time and money trying to work it all out. It would have been different if you just threw her into the fire with the rest without care and consideration. Keep us updated.
  24. They are very beautiful, love the pied reminds me of Pretty but more english faced of course. You didn't mention quarantine but I assume they are in it but I like to throw it out for new members who read these posts that all new incoming birds must always be quarantined for 30 days away from the existing flock to watch for any signs of illness etc..
  25. SW that is awesome, I tried the pellet thing but 1 thing I learned about Merlin it doesn't matter how hungry he is he did go on strike, will give him veggies with seed on top today and see what happens, I remember I did this the other way around to get him to eat veggies...I can't figure him out.
