  1. Gold fish are nippers no matter how fancy they killsed off my beta keep watch they are not nipping at the fins, the goldfish my daughter got at school ended up beating up my beta, I was ticked. They are gorgeous.
  2. OMG she is SOOOO cute, great doggie house.
  3. Welcome to the forum, and as everyone said a picture would help.
  4. I just vaacum nothing really works, plus seed catchers the seeds fall in there and then you have to clean that out all the time when you remember.
  5. Jodie, because this is a budgie dedicated forum I think you would be best off finding a forum that supports guinea pigs like you did for your budgies. Here is one I did find CLICK HERE that looks very well used, I can't say it is a great forum but I can tell you that you will get more ideas there.
  6. I do that anyway with my kids and one starts with an A and the other a H

oh my goodness how cute is that, if you have an edit feature on your photo software you should lighten up the picture just a little bit and submit it for the Budgie of the Month Contest

Our forum is dedicated to budgies, the line above says this "Topics regarding health and support etc. of other animals besides budgies will be removed", I will not remove your post but I do want to inform you of the guidelines, I bet if you do a google or ask right here on the forum someone can direct you to a message board that has experts on lovebirds. Welcome.
  13. Libby wow they are stunning birds, you should enter one of those pictures for Budgie of the Month!! JEH, your bird is very stunning too, to get your own post going about your bird would be best so your post doesn't get lost within this one, also when you resize make sure you chose message board size 640x480 therefore the picture will be larger and easier to see
  14. This sounds serious that your budgie didn't get treatment in the first place, walking around with a broken leg is very painful and no assistance was provided at the time of injury? Why? The bird needs to see an avian vet nethertheless so it can get the treatment it so needs. Keep us updated.
  15. Awe he is sweet, I like Poco , then you would have the 2 P's
  16. He will be fine trust me he just has to get used to his wings, Pretty was the same way. Animals don't like when things feel different. I know my dog Cabela, hated his new coat but after I kept it on for a week he was fine. This is the case with your budgie, they will sulk in the beginning with the wing clip but I assure you in 4 days if you continue the routine you already have with him he will be just as confident if not more. Wing clips do give budgies an attitude adjustment because when they are flighted they start to get too confident and won't listen (this is for pet owners). I know this from personal experience because I did a wing clip on Merlin and was going to do another one on Pretty because I had to keep chasing him all the time to get back in the cage., As for not coming out on his own that is a GOOD thing, he should be trained to come out when you want him out. I find that if I need to open the cage door with Merlin he won't just fly out which is GOOD especially if I need to get in there for a sec. I believe them learning to come out only on command is a way to keep your budgie safe in case someone does open accidently. Again, everything will be fine, Boogie will be to his old self in a couple days...don't feel bad.

Father's Day is in June here for the U.S., I thought it was a National Holiday and the same time for everyone like Mother's Day.
  24. I have seen it in spray form here in the U.S. that is why I said that Kaz, thank you for the correction.
