(Laughing out loud) @ my Chunky Apple.. Mig was actually enjoying it and with each kiss Apple blew, little Mig was rocked back with the forth, seemed to be putting him to sleep... I'm actually wondering if He may infact be a she (Mig that is) :sad: a few times i've looked at his cere its been a purple but then other times its got an oatmeal coloured flush to it I'm finding I'm mostly calling Him a Her now just because her behaviour is so different to the boys and both the boys only seem to be going nuts with her and not each other (PHEWW) :hap: In the video Apple was doing his best to chat up poor lil Miggy and you very possibly did hear him say come to mamma and there was a few other bits and pieces chucked in with big I love You's too Not to be outdone, Munchy had to throw his two cents worth in also and announce that he also loves Miggy.. Oh My Goodness Boris is such a sweetheart and her babies look as equally sweet, it does only seem like a short while ago that she layed the egg in your hand (Laughing out loud) .. Thought since it had been sooooooooo long since id posted anything worth while on here, id take and post some pics of My Three Amigos .. Apple also decided it would be a good opportunity to try his advances on poor little Miggy which i took a little bleary video of.. Little Apple looking lonely before he thought it would be a GREAT plan to chat up Miggy. Little Mig. And Munchkin having a scratch. The next few pics are of Apple trying his Mr Smooth routine on Miggy I realized after taking HEAPS of pictures that you couldn't actually hear his Mr Smooth routine so i took a little video clip so you could listen. I was actually thinking of a Shitzu, but now you mention it.. Yup i can see the Pug Merlin is such a cutie flat face and all Actually i do think its rather cute how they do the flat face thing (Laughing out loud)...

I have used either Mahogany branches or Mangrove drift wood for perches in my aviary. I just use that Milton Antibacterial Wash (the tablet form that you wash baby bottles etc with) I let it sit for about 15 mins or so then rinse really well and then let them dry out in the hot sun for a day or two

Keeps the fish in (they tend to want to always jump on on me ) and the birds out

I put a pond in my aviary made out of an old bath tub.. To make sure the budgies didn't drown or anything in the water i made a wire mesh cover that sat inside the tub and its supported with polished pebbles that i've stuck to the inside edge of the tub. I cut only small holes big enough for the reeds or the fountain to stick out from so that birds in no way could get under the mesh.. Cheers :beer: Una

:hap: What is this little girl? Today she will be going to a new home along with one of her sisters, a little green spangle girl.. They are being rather frisky in the aviary and trying to hook up with their brother and father so they are going to a friends of mine who has two little boys in her aviary that would love the company.. i'm sure it would be rather difficult, maybe use the bottom beak as a scoop and then grind the seed with the top one like a mortar n pestle (sp?)

hehee they are so cute.. the little one on the top looks sweet with his little neck outstretched like a turtle
