I paired my sky blue with a double factor dominant pied and got these.. This is mum , son and dad.

Shell, If she has a soft and fluffy lump it sounds like she has a rupture and you shouldn't breed her.. How old is your hen? It happens in mostly older birds but have seen it in young ones too.. Take her of the nest and the lump will go away and watch her to see if she pases an egg.. She will slowly go back to normal... But don't breed her again..

Great pics Lin they are gorgeous, and they are both Opalines.. Opaline is the lack of markings on the back, neck, and head. The Opalines mask and cap colour should extend over the back and merge into the body colour at a point level with the wing butts. The markings should stop at this point,leaving a clear V-effect between the tops of the wings and the centre of the back. To daz I agree with nerwen, she is a looker and a grey green..

Shell, can I have a few more pics please, try and hold the babies up so I can get a good look at the cere.. From the last picture I think the yellow one is boy and the white is girl, I will confirm this with the new pics..

I think you may have double factor spangles. The only thing is I have very limited info on them. Nerwen if you could tell me do they have the pink eyes when they are young?? They are gorgeous anyway and if you want to post a clear picture of the babies, we will let you know what sex they are.. Rainbow the 2 green birds in the picture are the parents.. I would like to know are you sure that one of those blue males aren't the dad..??

How old is the baby? Keep an eye on the chick you have put with the foster parents, they may kill but if they are good he/she should be okay.. Good luck and keep us posted.

catch her now and put vasaline on the affected areas, this will kill it and she will be fine. the egg may have been laid 20 days ago but she may have started sitting about 3 or 4 days in so maybe hatch in 2 days.. good luck and keep us posted.
