Good news so far and good luck..:grbud: My only worrie would be if the other hen saw her mate with Miss purple or feeding her, she could get agressive then.. So the food in the nest is a good idea the less she has to rely on the cock bird the better I think. Good luck again..

Are you sure Dad hasn't got pied in him? Also the DF thats not is spangle too and maybe opaline too.. Also you can get greywing and clearwing from one parent having the greywing gene and the other parent having the clearwing gene..:hap: I don't think you have greywings there but maybe the clearwing gene..
