  1. Daz is huey's cere brown or still pink.. If brown then she is a girl but it does look like a boy in the photo you have of them. Can you post a picture of him now??
  2. The Double factor dominant pied can also `have the pink cere and orange beak.. The number 1 picture you can just see the iris..
  3. I hope it is still there, but it might be food colouring...

Have you thought about putting it back with it's mother to see if she will take it and feed it?? Good luck with it all.

Congratulations christabelle on your babies and the eggs. Your parents have alot of work in front of them. Good Luck. I'd say your little violet baby is a cobalt as he/she does not have violet cheek patches. Violet is a dominant colour and you need a violet to get violet.. But very cute anyway..

Is it wet poo over the babies?? How many babies do you have? I would leave the babies with their parents. Have you got nesting material for your nests? That works for me and my birds don't really get dirty.
  7. okay clearwings have full body colour, Greywings and dilutes don't have full body colour. Your bird looks like she has full body colour.
  8. haha, no i'm not offended. I'm not going to start disliking my budgie because she's not a perfect pedigree. However... how do you define "poor?" Is is just that she's not a well defined clearwing? How do you know she's not greywing or dilute? Her wings should be lighter and less marked to be perfect. Why I'm not saying greywing is because greywings are muted ( diluted) Clearwings don't have muted colours. Greywings and dilutes do... :budgiedance: Hope this helps..
  9. He sounds like a spangle and an Opaline.. But I can't see any of the pictures.. Maybe thats why I can't see them!
  10. She looks like a poor clearwing to me. Don't take it the wrong way she is still cute.
  11. I forgot about george..(Laughing out loud).. But I can see dark lines around his eyes, although he is very different for a recessive..thanks nerwen..
  12. I would say that he is a double factor dominant pied like rainbow.. Why I say this, is because I have never seen a recessive pied with those markings. How old is your bird?

    Thats great news stendorosa..
  14. thanks daz he is gorgeous and your little lady is very cute!! No pun taken.. (Laughing out loud)
  15. I agree he is dominant.. Daz have you got an adult picture of george please.??
  16. I would call him a recessive sky blue, not a whiteflight. Whiteflights are of a dominant nature and should have the white spot on the back of its head.. Your bird is recessive.. And very gorgeous.
  17. Your hen wil be labouring and not active. This is very dangerous for your hen and she could die.

Christabelle when you move the cage you can take the eggs out and put them in a box with tissues, then put them back in the nest when you get there. Good luck :feedbirds:
  19. She looks like a fallow. Can you get a shot of her just on your finger so we can see what she looks like? Then I could tell you what sort of fallow she is.
  20. Which picture daz?. The 2nd and 3rd pics you can see a greywing sky blue spangle..
  21. Daz can you post new pics of the babies?? They have a bit of glar on the cere.. I agree with lin nerwen just start with the pics from the forum..
  22. Hey daz what are the sexes of your 2 babies??
  23. Lin I think you can be forgiven to think that it is a very dark to black budgie it looks very dark on my monintor.. Looking forward to the picture nerwen..
