What's wrong with the first one is that it's tall (not enough room for flying across) and it's also round which is unsuitable for any bird. The second on is much better. It's a decent size and it's wide rather than tall as well as being rectangular with no fancy shapes. This will mean all the space is used, there'll be flying space and it'll be easy to hang toys.

Stupid Blinkie is being a real pain lately and not eating his veggies. Of course if i'm eating them they must be fantastic so i've been eating lots of carrots and veggies so that twerpy bird is getting a decent amount of fresh food. I think i might try him on potato tonight...he's never had that before (odd seeing as i practically live on potatoes).

That's soooo cheap!! My one cost close to $500AU i think and it's probably only half that size, maybe less.

I've convinced dad to take me to the hardware store sometime in the next few weeks to get some dowel and stuff to make on of those perch ladders that you put on an angle to fit lots of perch space into a smaller area....know what i mean? :mellow: Anyway, i just asumed you'd use nails to attach the dowel to the side bits of wood but dad thought glue would be better. I don't want to use glue incase it's poison but does anyone know of a bird safe glue just incase?

Also, in my experience single budgies take waaaaaaay longer for their cere to change. Blinkie had his baby coloured cere for 5 or 6 months at least i think while his siblings had all changed by about 3 months.
