Glad you're amused!! I wasn't sure if any little metal bits would fly off so i decided to get the safety googles from my science kit just incase. :(Laughing out loud):

Just like i promised here's a bunch of photos from during and after me and my friend made the row of perches today. I hardly hit my fingers at all and i even managed to master a saw and a drill!! Concentrating very hard on hitting the nail and not my fingers.... Sat down cause i got tired after hitting like.....maybe 2 nails. Doing very well with the saw..... Wait.....now it wont move!!! HELP! Finished but not installed. Now the perches are put in but i still need to figuire out how to put some holes in the roof for toy hooks. Cool natural perches! Homemade swing. A different angle, you can see the paper towel rolls for chewing. All finished!!

If she's eating even one tablespoon then that would be twice the amount she needs....do you mean teaspoon because all budgies need is 2 teaspoons of seed along with veggies and other fresh foods each day.

I have to agree with Terri. If you can't keep all the babies then you shouldn't breed. What if there was something wrong with a baby or you couldn't find a responsible home for all the babies? Then what?

That's a very good cage!! Just one question which may seem stupid but where's the door?
  7. WOW!! I love them both!

Hehe! I'm glad Teapot hasn't been over ruled by other budgies. You need to update your profile to say 5 budgies instead of 3.

WOW!! That's fantastic!! I love it! How long have you had Baby, Wriggly and Patch?

You're budgies are stunning!! :grbud: Welcome to the forums!
  11. :ausb: Blinkie does that too. I keep telling him that his "whatever they have" will fall off if he keeps it up but he just doesn't listen. In the same way that Mickey humps his blanket whenever friends come over Blinkie mates with his perch whenever friends come over. :grbud: Jim is sure one happy budgie! I love the second photo!

I'm so jealous!! I would absolutely love that giant aviary in the house!

You could just use sand. That's what i use and it's really easy to sweep all the seed and poo away and when the dirt starts showing through it's cheap to just go and get more sand.
  19. Do you have a friend or someone you know who would be willing to look after the budgies for as long as it takes for the paint fumes to disappear?
  20. Bea replied to a post in a topic in Budgie Safety
Maybe they have something to hide.....probably!

Mine don't seem to fight over seed treats, i could put one in the aviary abd only the porkers would even bother to eat some. :fear

Well now i don't know what to think!!! This is sooo annoying!

Well my calcium perch was magnetic....sort of, it stuck for a bit then fell off (the magnet fell off). BUT my whole cage was magnetic!! That wont matter unless the plastic blue stuff comes off will it?

I hope your aviary budgies don't ever read this! They have been excluded from your message board activity. Shame!! Yes, i know....luckily they don't have a computer out there! I will add that my aviary budgies get high quality seed plus veggies at least a few times a week (usually everyday) and i also give them things like mashed egg or some cooked foods. Oh, and they've got their cuttlebone and iodine bell, etc. :ausb:
