Budgie Putting Seed In Water
I would try reagaring the cage and swapping some toys around it could help with this behaviour as she is distracted by something else. It's the first thing that came to mind.

An Egg Already!
addle the egg for now or removed if if you wish to be sure. The mum will continue to lay a few more now since she has started her cycle again. How old is the youngest?? If s/he is over the age of 4 weeks you could remove the box and give them a small hiding platform (or small cardboard box) so they feel safe again but the parents stop trying to breed again and they start to learn what life outside is like, how to balance and eat seeds. You must have great fun trying to tell them all apart :(Laughing out loud): they look super.

What Will Baby Quinn Grow Up Being?
:(Laughing out loud): it's a bit early to tell Kirby, and the youngest always looks to be taking FOREVER to get colour/feathers compaired to the rest. Does Quin have the little black dots showing? Lucky seems to be getting the same colouring as Cupid

What Do You Think?
He looks recessive pied. Yes some of them keep the head bars, Poka my rec. didn't but he still has his cute pink cere and baby type eyes (no iris)

********budgiebird Hilton News *********
yeah the first looks like a DF spangle, the other well in that pictures the wing markings look slightly brown. Love Marvin, not sure of the 'spot' was he picked on by mum or dad? That could explain fesh feathers growing in slightly different coloured to the rest.

Unexpected Colour In Nest...
It's just I can never remember if the spangle gene sould show on an Ino with the cinnamon gene. It's not unual to get a spangle offspring from a spangle parent since it's a dominant gene.

(Laughing out loud) with question on types of babies might be an idea. Shiloh and Rocket will have some cute ones If he is split Ino there is a chance of more Clearbodies.

Breeding Time
I've read about putting the hen in first. Tried to Ring Aqua today but it came off, in a BIG clean today I found out Opal's ring fell off at some point it was clearly still on the foot sunday morning (after being done saterday) now the foot is too big. Cupid is an opaline The blue is at last showing on the wings, and Tingle is so very very dark still. Interested in seeing more colour on him soon.
