  1. YAY :ausb: Cupid is so big now, he was trying to 'hide' while I held him before and climbed his way up my neck (tickling me with his toenails) to hide in my hair, which at the moment is just below my ears :glare:. It was almost as if he was sitting on my shoulder wub.gif Tingle (the second) is very happy to look around at the world and dashes from place to place as if in a hurry all the time tongue.gif Darel (fourth) also loves to look around at the place, he has a yellow head and yellow on his wings with light blue starting to show around his tail area. I think Storm might be a white face blue. Not 100% Storm is third anywhere from about 5 hours to 12 hours older than Darel. This one is a bit shy. The last two havn't really shown their personaility (sp?) yet. Kazza and Minka are kinda happy to sit in your hand but not interesting in looking around much. I will take some photos again soon.
  2. are you wanting to start breeding or just get a friend fir your budgie? Two males can live together without fights if this is all you want. more than happy to give some info about breeding too just want some further info about while you wish to add a box.

that hamser bottle might be worth a try. Alsomaybe find something for her to 'shred' your in Aussie land so any native tree like a gum or a bottlebrush branch will have great bark just waiting to be removed :glare:

It's been floating around this forum for ages that Kiwi fruit was on the bad list. *goes hunting now*
  8. Good one Daz Cupid has found his voice and now cries when I hold him, Tingle still loved to check everything out as does Darel.

Welcome both your birds are so cute Anna I edited your LONG list to remove Kiwi fruit becuase it's on the bad list.
  12. If dad was/is an opaline he should have green on his wings it's normal to have yellow wings with a green bird. BUT males can carry a sex-linked gene (felmales can't) Yes the children from him that have the same body colour on their wings are female.
  13. As if we will complain about pictures of all of them :hap: I was just interested in seeing some close ups.
  14. There is still a lot of boby colour left for a texas Clearbody. It's either that or a poorly marked normal.
  15. I think they are also called Japanese Crested.
  16. If BooBoo hasn't got iris rings by now then yes I would say recessive pied. Colour is yellowface type2 cobalt. Bessie in the first picture the cere looks very light so I would think female, although for both of them it's hard to tell in the pictures. Does she have rings? or is she only 3 months now? With the colour around the neck I would wonder about a dutch dominant pied.
  17. wonderfully cute :hap: And you forgot to add opaline in the type :hap:
  18. I don't like them they look as if they are sick. (the helicopter ones) Nice birds :hap: the fulls ones always make me thing someone put a bowl on their head and gave them a hair cut
  19. Kirby give us a closer picture of Quin
  20. well....I relly don't want to get your hopes up or anything....but..... that is how opalines look....
  21. yes they are Daz and both seem to have a pied spot Kazza's around four feathers and Minka's only one Seems to suit becuase there foster mum is a pied too.
  22. Nothing wrong there Shadow is a great looking bird.
  23. if the bird rubed ans broke the feather it could take a while for the new feathers to grow in. Berry broke two pin feathers while in the nest and had a small bald spot just above her cere becuase of it for a while.
