Updated Photos
I agree with Kirby They look great I'll be watching closly to see how the last one turns out, we have a topic at the moment about the genetics of birds like your males :hap: Weather the spot means they are split for recessive or is sex-linked.

Care Sheet
Cindy common sense sometimes does get over looked The apple seeds will be on the 'banned foods' list. Bluey - great idea on the windows and mirrors I hadn't thought of the dangers out of cage when first learning. Also you guys have shown me that it's safer to add the 'silly' basics to the list for the just in case the light bulb doesn't click on and not worry if the people feel I'm insulting them.

I Need Lessons On Addling!
It's quite alright to let them have a second round and I understand about the chicks in eggs thing. If they lay before all the chicks are old enough this time just remove them until you can remove the box. Raising them is the hard work not the laying of eggs. At least one good thing has come from this, another in the future can read this for great pointers :(Laughing out loud):

What Colours Are These Birds
Ahh thank you for the back shots she is an opaline spangle. As the the first one in the secon lot brown markings means cinnamon like I thought. Becuase she is cinnamon the colouring could match an olive - they get a mustard body colour.

Care Sheet
I like Lovey thanks Candace I don't have any experance with wing clipping. But I could add note on the sheet if they wish to have cliped wings to be shown correctly by a vet. I was planning on tell them that but I could foget so having it on the sheet would be good.

When To Remove The Nesting Box?
If you add a small box at the bottom of the cage ( i use cardboard ones) they can hide away in there if they need to but the parents will not try to use it as a nest box.

Care Sheet
I want to make a care sheet for the people that (hopefully) come to buy by baby budgies ( not there are a lot for sale after removing the ones i'm keeping ) But am stuck as to how 'simple' it should be. So far all I can think to add to it that would be good is the local avian vet numbers and this website. I had something else as well but it's slipped my mind. Should thinks likeclean water daily and cleaning weekly be added? I think when to clean is up to the owner to decide really. Oh the other I was going to add is a list of their favourite vegges and fruit and a few others that are safe as well as the banned list. So any ones with ideas on what else should be added??

Please Please Give Me A Name!
Greys are made up of the grey gene and the blue gene together. If both parents are single factor greys (and there isn't a way to tell) then the blue gene can match giving a blue baby. Homer one of the grey parents should have a yellow face but??

Breeding Time
:(Laughing out loud): Great news?? I'm stoping Tootie becuase she still isn't showing signs of being fully in condition, as in her cere all fell off in the middle of feeding these guys and is only a very pale tan colour at the moment and Ringo is still all alone so she is only laying clear eggs :hap: I am planing on taking pictures of them when I move the oldest out into a new cage, there are some minor sqawbles over perch places and such so they need the extra room. Libra is already back in the box

I Need Lessons On Addling!
I believe you need to shake them each day to addle them correctly. I'm sorry they didn't work out for you correctly this time round. I could remove the younger eggs so she doesn't have so many to feed. And this time around as soon as the babies are old enough to be with out the nest box remove it all. Or do as daz said and remove an egg after another has been laid or use fake ones. Some people also boil the egg to stop the chick from growing inside.

Breeding Time
Cute pictures yet again daz :hap: Tootie laid a new egg either last night or this morning Libra the youngest is only 32 days and only yesterday came out of the box I was hoping to leave them longer but I watching him today to see if he will be okay and I can remove the box. Cupid will soon be old enough to leave the family as well (i got his age wrong last time I said 39 but I think it was only 36 at that stage) I'm thinking of moving Tingle with her since she is a brave one and both sleep outside at night now. Seeing that egg made me think of Ringo and the amount of time she has been scratching inside the box since her two spend all day outside, and almost fell over with shock at seeing TWO eggs!!! Minika the youngest is 35 days old and both spend the whole day out so I'm adding a small box to the bottom of the cage for them and removed the nest box.

What Colours Are These Birds
With the first one if the long tail feathers are black that means Grey-green not Olive. With the next list: 1. Spangle perhaps another grey-green and maybe cinnamon, the throat spots look brown to me. 2. grey spangle 3. Is interesitng the flecking on the head and thoat spots makes me think opaline but the wings don't seem to carry the same colour as the body. Do the wings look like the first two or is there more black showing? 4 (crested). Opaline skyblue possible cinnamon.

Head Spot Discussion
okay so their might have been more hens with the spot than male, but can you recall (or find out) if it was the dad or the mum that had the spot or both? Or were they both recessives?
-
How Does The Recessive Gene Work?
It helps to know the parents as well. From what i can gather from that either one parent was recessive and the other carried the gene or both parents carried the gene. One would be green carrying the blue gene while the other was blue.
-
What Colours Are These Birds
agree with one and two but to be sure with 3 what is the colour of the tail?

Baby Journal...
You could simply remove the eggs if you wish for this short time until you think Quinn can handle the time from the box. Kirby might do fine if you remove Belle and it is an option but keep in mind he might turn on the bubs after losing his partner. I'm gald they are all doing well. You will have to give us their final pictures before they leave for their new home.

Head Spot Discussion
okay Confusion plus :(Laughing out loud): Karen just to be sure Dad doesn't have a spot on his head like a lot of spangle can? Lovey there is the paragraph about being split ( it too me a while to find it too) Now Can I add in another spanner to the mix?? I re-read what my books states about headspot pieds and the author states that it might be a form of Sex-linked pied gene, but that a lot of reseach hasn't gone into it yet. Most times it is connected with another pie trait and not see as a different gene. I'm still not sure what I think. Do you know if this lady had more hens with the trait than males? or more even?

blue normals unless dad has the cinnamon gene or mum has the clearwing (dilute) gene

French Moult Or Very Buff.
how old is Fluffy?
-
Breeding Time
Bea the tail is from the pied gene and his wings are paleish but not spangle, or not as spangle looking as the pictures shows. Neither of the parents where spangle. Hurdy I can only guess but it could be perching in the show cage training.

The Flock Shots
Ply wood is better MDF although sold in pet shops does have glue used in the making that could cause trouble to birds.
