Update I finally found someone to build the dual breeding cages but he is very slow in doing it.... Unknown to him I have found where I can get the fronts and have price to build them myself. If ecconomical I wiil buld to sell.

They are ugly little things at that age.... Looks like pop having a snooze.... But we love them

Phoebe, .....Karen, Nerwen and I don't have much water. Australia is one of the driest countries in the world and at the moment where we are the rain fall is not enough..we are on strick restrictions......That is probibly why Nerwen is having so much trouble...:budgiedance:. Could you bottle some of that sexy water and send it to nerwen to help her pair???? :ausb:

Selective Breeding is the safest type of breeding...you can still get into trouble and loss chicks through attacks from the parents but not from other birds. Here is my current set up. This is a dual breeding cages with two pairs. They can't interfier with each other.

Gillian is about right. Some reasons to foster..... Keeps clutch sizes equal Less strain on Parents Gives chicks a better chance all the way around. Some points to remember...... When fostering egg make sure that theclutches are about the same age. Don't put a new egg into a clutch that is about to start hatching. Keep the chicks about the same age. ......Keep records.....

I've been trying to get them to do a story for me regarding women's prtection in society and can't get past the front door..... If they don't care about women's rights they won't go for the protection of birds. I have the support of the Queensland Police in regards to the women's rights and they still didn't care enough to meet me... :budgiedance:

Budgiebird I use wood shavings when I set up the bo. The hen will probibly throw most of it out. Thats fine. When the eggs hatch I put a bit more in and as the chicks grow add a bit more and more. I clean the shavings out regularly when they are soiled....every two to three days.

What's with the birds in America and Canada.... it must be the water

Rust is very posionous to Budgies. It does give charactor - Dead Charactor..
