  2. yes darl you done good more than some love to see you care so much i posted about same time so i relized after i posted you just got back u doing everything perfict it should be all good i hope clean water daily as normal and food too
  3. thats good news i still belive medicating birds for just a thought can b more troubble than good just me
  4. i agree with kaz id be cleaning everything id even get new perches the lot if you have dirt floor id dig out the top layer and place freash sand and sawdust on top if not just a really good scrub clean everything even walls wire the lot it can stay in aviry for long time going from bird to bird slowly killing them all i would also treat all birds and then take them to vet to be tested after to make sure poo smears not that expencive and vet usually willing to cut price when your flock is big if it is if not all the better good luck
  5. Pretty sure this is a really good example of a double factor golden face. In the single factor the yellow suffusion is very pronounced producing that really sea green colour on blue birds. In the double factor the body suffusion is extremely reduced and produces what is generally considered to be the most attractive of all the YF forms - strong golden face colour with little body colour suffusion. In normal birds you would see less of the suffusion on the body but because this bird is pied it is more noticable on the white protions of the body. On second glance i totally agree with you there nubbly. I remember writing up a big spiel about YF genetics and had been trying to explain or find a photo of a DF Golden face. This is a classic example - you can see the bright coloured face and the suffusion is limited to the upper chest and wings - perfect for what i want in a rainbow budgie. I hope to one day find a banded pied (pied belly band like dom pied but i dont want wings affected, i can dream!) which in the DF golden face sky blue would mean it has green chest, yellow band, blue belly/rump and the other gorgeous effects of throwing opaline + clearwing in the mix as well. if your not after show type and your willing to pay costs i will send you some just like that for nothing mate i breed all time i can give you any mutation you want in the mix why cause its nice to see peoples dreams come true just im not sure can you send birds to nz? it can even be split clear wing just not clearwing as i only got one cock need to get more lol but no rush so...
  6. with your promishion i will keep her and you in my thoughts and light a candle of strength for you my dear friend remember you may call 24 /7 anytime any night i will only b a call away i know the feeling of being lost between wanting to let someone go yet wishing they were here its hard but you are strong maesie and letting the pain out in the form of tears raining down is never a bad thing so dont try to be to strong in times like these i know its hard to balance things like this dont be afraid to ask for guidance as their will b someone close by watching you you will be in my thoughts hun leeia xxxxxxxxxxBLESSED MAY YOU BE

welcome and i for one already except your offer of knowledge so much to learn , so much to find out ,love to see your crests among others you dont see many as kaz said
  17. personally i would not treat the flock for parassiss what ever its called unless the birds show real change all of them not just the one in their movment behaviour however we all do things diffrent i would take it to a vet and i would seperate it from others but i would not be to quick to jump on the parrasissi thingy big name i can not say or spell band waggon as in most cases its something else if it was showing other symptoms eg the browning above cere and wet nostrals runny poo ect then i would be worryed and treat flock even if it was only one with sighns but not other wize and not unless vet adviced but hay thats me
  18. this very good bit of info neville i will have to remember that im glad i got it right as im always a bit ummmmm not sure with clearwing and just a lightly laced spangle i got a few im not to sure about in pet types i just use them as spangles but i will look at them more closley now
  19. golden face as the body colour is still mauve not both both the body colour would be greener but still mauve but still greener only goldenface
  20. lashed it with
  21. this is only a guess and im most probbly wrong but looks like a clearwing to me spangled could be very lightly marked full body grey wing only its tail does note denote that shure its not very pale cinnamon ?
  22. metal pegs my friend the little christmas card ones work a treat
  23. you wont b leaving empty handed my dar i have something special for your flock just what the doc ordered
  24. i agree nice pairings but i think you will find if you place boo with your rec pie hen next time you will get half rec pie chicks he is in my veiw split rec pie so with the hen he is with you may get doms /rec pie but wont know till breeding of bubs with a rec pie if by chance she is clear flight you may just get a dec as you want ....or if you really lucky like i was and she is /rec pie also you will get doms and rececives in the nest but mainly doms you will be able to tell difrents straight up if not by lace of irisring when chicks mature as you would mabe know
