Yeah hers is soft too. she has had it for over a year on and off now and it doesn't appear to affect her in any way. she put some nasty holes in my fingers when i was holding her. i haven't taken her to the vet - other than the mass she is fine and doesn't appear in any discomfort. I blame sunflower seeds!

Here is my hen. she is in her full fattness at the moment. she varies from this to normal. she looks just like your hen too. This hen is 8 years old though

I have a single small mirror in my aviary..... they all take turns in chatting them selves up in it, but it has not caused any issues. In a social environment like an aviary i find budgies don't seem to get fixated on toys like they do when on their own or in a tiny group

3 Chicks doing well. The one with Yellow belly recovered fully. One died as it was too prem. Lost one egg as it got cracked, but still got 5 fertile eggs to go. Lady is in her box so i hope to slip a couple under her and see how they go

I have a hen who has a fatty deposit, it comes and goes - there one day, gone the next etc

I might have room in the freight box to bring a couple back for you MB if you wanna pay freight from Adel to Vic and some petrol (because its a 3 hour round trip from here to our airport) If not in my box, we could get you another box, but that's another set of air fees though. I cant guarantee room in my box as we are going to an Auction next Saturday and would depend how expensive the birds get :bump: .... You could also freight some direct from Perth

Donno, normally the best price for supplements etc is from the trading table of your budgie club - i know mine sells all its stock at cost :yes:

i got santa presents until i moved out at 18 Now i give santa pressies I get hubbies big shoes and trudge them though the front garden and then stomp big muddy foot prints though the house to their stockings. Then i make a huge mess of the lettuce, carrots and cake (reindeer are messy things :laughter: ) The kids think its awesome!!!!!
