  4. Doesn't work like that... Sadly the only reason she would have broken the eggs is because she wants the box. Some hens can be so aggressive when it comes to nest boxes that they will kill growing chicks and even flight adults to the death over a nesting site. I have had a few hens like this and when i was colony breeding i removed them from the aviary into the non breeding aviary and that stopped the problems.
  5. I have had this happen too - Also happens with first time hens - they don't realise they are going to lay until its too late
  6. Awesome photos!!! They are all looking so happy and healthy!!
  7. She is a cutie She looks to have long feathers too - has she long flights ??
  8. Awww cute! I can see the blue coming though on the princess too - so pretty
  9. You sound like me when i was your age.... i was a bit younger actually.... but i had budgies, tiels and a pigeon all in an aviary together. I made a lot of mistakes back then and when i look back at what i know now i don't know how any of my budgies survived. My parents still have 2 of my original baby budgies who are 15 years old now! You are in the right place to learn all you need to know about your budgies.... Keep and open mind as we are purely just trying to help
