I offer a very small amount of the to him in his treat bowl and he still gets regular seed, sorry did not explain well. I give him his daily bowl and when he has had his fill I add the treats bowl to his cage he goes straight to it and eats that as well so it's like getting him to eat twice but other birds might not do that.

Coco Butter, you can get it from the body shop it comes in sticks and smells like Choccies! Great for skin streching back into shape. Also you can get the stuff that you spray in your hair and comb out so if she can't have a shower for a while it sort of is like washing your hair without having a shower (that is what I did after my surgery and you feel like **** but at least you hair looks semmi normal)

I think he sounds fine. Harley weighs about 38 but has been as low as 28. To fatten him up we give him extra oats and as he is feeding hen sitting on eggs at the moment I am watching his weigh pretty closely. I found that there is a bird seed that is about $15 a little bag called Bird treats or something like that it's in a red bag. If I put him on that for a few days then BAM his weight can jump up a gram or two. If you are worried I would just add a few hulled oats & sunflower seeds to his seed mix and that will put weigh on him.

Well if you want him I will put your name on him. In a few weeks we will be more sure about sex but as it stands I really do believe that him and Head Case are boys.

True however they all have to move cages to move inside so will see how we go. Poor flame looks like she has had the stuffing taken out of her, can't wait for the babies to leave her alone and she can build some more condition up.

Hi and welcome, take you time. It took me almost a year before I started really posting just cause I was to busy reading! Enjoy and remember ask as many questions as you want there is not such thing as a silly question.

Oh as others have pointed out imagin in 10 years time Alex wants to go to place A, Max to place B, and new bub to place C. When you have two you can split them up between yourself and your partner. I know with my boss they have three at the moment and I always end up going to one of the kids sports days or plays or taking them to something because it clashes with the other twos activities. Having said that if you ever need an extra taxi I am not that far away, Alex and Max have me so wrapped around their little fingers! I would take them home in a heart beat!

See that would annoy me. One of the reasons I changed my vets (that and you compare travel time from 30 mins each way to 5 min walking) was that they knew I was coming down there with a bird however in most cases I did not see the avairn vet but one of the other vets who know birds but are not trained in birds.
