(CHECK REFERENCES :book: My book says mushy to running droppings for over one or 2 hours = droppings are foamy, bloody, or strongly discoloured: Diarreha persists . Alarm! Hows the feeding going???? I don't think it would hurt to fed a few feeds of a Medicine spoon I took one of my babies out of the box at 5 weeks and feed it really made the whole taming process better ......

I've given mine Eggplant Strawberries, Apricots Bananas Blackberries Mulberries Peaches, Grapes, Radish, Parsley ALL HERBS, and they have been fine ........Fruits and Veg that are hard are jullian ( cut thinly)and put thru the wire or either grated and mixed in .....

Mine is 4 months old to and bites LIKE CRAZY ..... Must be something to do with this generations (Laughing out loud)

Hey Missy EVERY BUDGIE LOVE MILLET ... When I first introduced fruits and vegs to mine it took forever I felt like I was wasting food and Money cause the fresh stuff is way over priced ( so I grow my own) But I got some millet spray and cut them into little bits rather than the long strip and they flew straight to the F&V (fruit & Veg ) and ate the millet then tried all the bits of eggplant and carrots and rice and etc they now love it ........

Hey Missy .... Try the dyed ( GARDEN GLOVE ) it works I told my MIL (mother In Law) to do they same so it recongises it has a hand .... Go back to Taming basics and start all over again .... I honestly do believe that a light tap ot quick flick on the beck doesn't hurt or causes them pain .... ( A kids smacks you .... You smack them back !!!! ) just remembering they are a lot smaller and fragile then we are ... Get the Millet out or her fav fruit / Veg Or use a taming stick it is like a LOOOONNNNGGGG T made from Dowel ....Teach her to hop on to this first it will save on the finger biting

LMAO - No Mate even if we all opened our aviaries there still wouldn't be enough to be flying all over Oz ....( NT maybe) . Wild Budgies is like Wild Grass Parrots (green grump parrots) their colouring needs to blend in with their environment other wise they are preyed upon... TO put it bluntly ... There are No Roo's ( kangaroos ) Hoping everywhere in Oz (... SO many people from the States and Canada have asked me this question) No Rainbows of Budgies, Or Koalas in every tree .... ..... How ever there are a few why way (Laughing out loud) and wombats hahaha...... oh and the possums ... Love the little guys they steel the birds fruit HAHAHAHAHA

Heya, Just maybe a little off topic To keep rodents and Slugs and etc out of my Bird stuff all items ( Poop scrapers, extra feed dishes, sawdust, millets they lot ) it all stored in those Plastic Tubs that are on wheels And the Aviary i have dug a trench 30cm into the ground and placed villa board all the way around - Nothing can get in .... ( I have no Worries with other animals includes snakes, Lizards, foxes , Rodents and stray dogs) .... Food for thought !!!!! .... My next aviary I will do the same how ever I will be taking the dirt out linging it and replacing the dirt thus the grasses still grow and plants ... OH I CAN'T WAIT ONLY 1 WEEK TILL THE NEW AVAIRY ahhhhh

Hey Elly I too thought that something bad had happen to merlin ... Luckily it's just a trip to Nan & pop .... question though if you are so worried about leaving your "babies'' there...Then why didn't you try another avenue , Friend, Some vet ( not know in the State) have like a holiday period and I am sure that a Vet would make you feel more at ease .... Who is painting the house Professionals or Hubby??? ...
