Another Aviary
Hey all ..... Dave Built me another aviary The poor thing was sick and took him 3 days but he did it just for me ....... And so that I would stop nagging him (Laughing out loud) .... As I said in a previous post it has no base just grass double bricked and because I would like to gets some quails he has villa bord the tops of the bricks so nothing can get in or out .... I must say he did a fatastic job Not bad for a Gyprocker (Laughing out loud) He even leveled it out ..Hence the bottle of water on the top . . . I now get Black Cocky's more Lori's and even the galahs are flocking to the gum trees near them and having a good old talk He even divided it for me so that the Teils had a new home too I orignally wanted breeders in one side and Flights in the other But due to getting tiels in short notice I couldn't leave them in a tiny cage .... It is more deep then wide and they all love it ... It's fitted with home made Budgie swings ( I made hehe) .... I am happy and i think the best thing is I AM OFF DAVES CASE hehehehe .... Now on to another one HEHEH .... Please Dave!!!!!!

Hey all ... I am sure that i have read on here that usually after 8 days of mating is when an egg is due to be layed. So my question to you is After witnessing the hole "Getting Jiggy With It" 8 days is today and No Egg .... Yet she is larger down below and her "Bits" are Dark Pink She has been forever in and out of the nest box Is she about to Lay or can it be longer then 8 days ...... EggBound Shouldn't be an issue as she has PLENTY of Calcium and etc ..... This is My first Pair that I am Finally recording everything with and I really do not want to miss a beat ... She is a Dom Pied Clearwing and he is an Albino This is both their first time Thanks Guys

1st Baby!
I have the whole Standard Breeding aviary all on the top shelf 4 Nest boxes ( and now ) 3 Pairs had a fourth in there But she wanted the one that someone else was in .. Big Bird fight rolling on the floor squarking like no tomorrow ... ( the fighter is the daughter of the other fighter I had ... She is now in a flight aviary ..... THey other couples are all fine with each other and no problems .... I have had many chicks this way ... It is what works for me at the moment Until I can get Hubby to make the breeding cabinets up : )
