Well at least I am on the right track??? Now the reason for this post was I noticed that at my old house the Aviary was Outside undercover and they breed like MAD .... Since I have moved They are in Like a QLD room soo to speak it is fully screened with Fly screen so Ventilated well and we are always in there Could the kids be disturbing them ???? there is also a Fluro light in this room another breeder told me to change to a uv light??? But I thought that was a bit strange .... I am thinking about re locating the aviary near the other one Outside .....I haven't had the pleasure of many eggs ..... But once the 2 fledge I will do the cabinet thing and how well that goes for me ???

I have moved ( from old house to here ) breeders before that were sitting on eggs blocked them up and extra nesting materials to prevent eggs from moving set everything up and put them back in with no problems ... Not even a cracked egg ...I have found ( reading on here and other ppl) that when you moved hens with chicks that is where the problem lies

Thanks Lone ...... I have a shed /garage But TOOOOOOO Dark and far away from the house plus the Rats ans Foxes and etc .... I was thinking about buying cabinets and stacking them in an aviary but can i put it outside or are they best off say in a room somewhere .....

I know Georgie is a boy - actually that is a kind of funny story, I thought he was a girl and named her Georgia until he mounted my hand a few years ago and clamped onto my fingernail and outed himself as a male (his cere is, I guess, mauve, although I had thought it was pink). Kazoo is about 4 months old and her cere definitely looks pink to me.Thanks in advance....Jimmy and birdluv have identified them as possibly a recessive pied and normal cobalt? Hmmm, interesting! (To answer your question birdluv, I don't see any rings around the irises of either of them.) Do they still look to be these strains closer up? YELLOW BOY BLUE IS FEMALE

HEHEHE ..... So she is a food dish layer .... If you don't want them to breed then you've doen the right thing using shallow dishes just take the eggs out she will soon get over it I hope ... I am sure that Kaz has answered a question like this before Maybe search her posts ..... It's up to you if you want them to breed then do it .... NOTHING IS AS WONDERFUL THEN HEARING THOSE BABIES CHEAP ...... ( feathers told me this years ago and mate she is right ) ... Good luck with it all

Looking at the picture HE looks like only one of HIS wings is clipped .... I am not 100% when it will grow back i think it may take upto 6 -12 months but Like I said I am not 100% The only clipped budgie I have is my MIl who didn't bond with because the othe one flew away Hence wing clipped ... I can time it though (Laughing out loud) so far 2 months still no growth
