I treated my babies to a new toy yesterday and got some cute photos of them this morning!! You go down first and I'll follow, go on - it's not scary! C'mon sweetie, gimme a kiss, no one's looking!!

Thanks Kaz. When I read about Deb's problem the other day and I live only an hour away, I thought why not help?? So I jumped in my car and picked them up. It was nice to actually meet a member of the forum in real life!! I have met some lovely people here, it's a shame we all live so far apart!

Seeing as your other half was a bit slack in ordering his suit for the wedding I would make him suffer! (Dont know how but I'm sure you could think of something!!) The puppies are absolutely gorgeous by the way, I want one!!

I have just taken some photos of Deb's chicks that were being plucked by their mother. They are being looked after by one of my hens.

Good news! The foster mum I have is feeding both the chicks as if they were her own. They are all snuggled up together in their nice warm nest box with big fat bellies!! :hap:

How do I go about feeling their pelvises? I'm thinking turn them on their back and feel under their tail??

Well we are home Deb, and so far everythings okay. Am keeping a good eye on the chicks to make sure the foster mum is feeding them!

Sometimes i think i know the answer and i will ask anyway just to double check. I dont mind you asking about your babies because i love seeing the pictures of them they are so cute! That's good, cause there will probably more photos real soon!!

I wouldnt worry about asking too many questions Missylu!! I'm always asking about the sex of my baby budgies, no one seems to mind helping me out, at least I dont think anyone minds! If you dont ask you wont learn!!

I wish I had a computer at work - I would do the same!! :hap: (wouldnt get much work done though!!)

They are about 6-7 weeks old. (I'm glad I'm not the only one having trouble!!)

Thanks Maesie, I dont know how I got through it all without you - and to all the other members of this wonderful forum I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your well wishes and prayers during the last week. Today was another sad day being my Auntie's funeral. I speak to my father every morning and night and he is improving slowly each day. They have found he has an irregular heartbeat now, so he will need to have further tests to determine the cause. But I am being positive about it, hopefully its just from the ordeal he's been through and will correct itself.

Thanks so much Kaz, I think last week took about 10 years off my life! I am just so relieved Dad is going to be okay. I have my Auntie's funeral to get through tomorrow, so lets hope there'll be no more sad news for a long long long time!!!

I am very happy to report my Dad's operation went very well and he is well on the way to excellent health once again! The operation took 5 hours. I visited him not long after it was over and he had endless tubes etc coming from him everywhere and it was not good seeing him like that. But this morning he was sitting up in a chair and talking away like nothing had happened!! He still has the tubes but he is much more alert than 24hours earlier!! Thank God the anurism was found in time as if it hadnt he couldve died very suddenly without any warning. He has to spend the rest of the week in hospital and recouperate for 6 weeks. The doctor said it will take about 6 months before he feels back to normal.

I suppose by now Maesie you are well on your way to your new home! Best of luck with the move, I will be thinking of you!! Hope all goes well and we'll chat soon I hope! xxxxx
